The normal scout cars are very nice, however, I think a few more types of cars such as estates or family cars would make Multiplayer even better by making the roads feel more realistic and not just see the same car model everytime. This would also include taking another year to make these models interior and exterior. Aslo, this is a truck game not a car game. Third thing - its very hard and much work costed to add new model. Scout Car was fully created by our team and it took much work. This is truck sim and the car was added to be used as escort for convoys and as police car for admins. There is no need to add more cars, also it's not that easy and will requier addional work. most of Scout drivers are bad enough, let's dont give them better variety of what to cause troubles with. This has been suggested plenty of times and rejected because it would take a lot of time to implement, and more importantly there could be licensing issues with adding cars such as Mercedes, Audi, BMW, etc. Please take a look at these similar topics I have linked below. Gads Posted July 5, 2017 Share Posted July 5, 2017 I just started playing this game about a week ago and I can already tell that not only do they NOT need to add more cars, they shouldn't have them to begin with. I've yet to see someone in a car driving like they had any sense. From what I've seen the last week they are purposely abused, mainly to troll people hauling loads or to block streets around town. 2 guys were trying to block the dealer/repair in Amsterdam yesterday and guys were having to ram them out of the way with their trucks, causing the cars to go flying.. sometimes through the ground into oblivion but usually into other vehicles. Don't get me started on the ones who aren't trolling, but still not paying attention, flying around all over the place on the highways.. they cause too much mayhem Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Posted August 1, 2017 Share Posted August 1, 2017 TruckersMP is not going to add any third party mods anytime soon because it would require an additional download, thus making the total file size bigger which leads to longer download times. In addition, those modifications always need to be supported by the latest version of the game which cannot be taken for granted when using external mods that have not been created by TruckersMP.
