Suggestion Description : Adding some new and hazardious weather will really bring out the realism of trucking as well as game. Weathers like windy weather, Stormy weather with thunderstorms, foggy weathers, etc can be added with Weather forecast system built-in the truck's cab (only for high model). Some Example images : Foggy weather - http://prntscr.com/eqwgtl Stormy Weather (Lightning) - http://prntscr.com/eqwhyv Rain+Fog+ThunderStorme - http://prntscr.com/eqwju4 Why should it be added? : Well basically, Weather forecast withing the trucks cab should be available so that trucker can prepare himself/herself for conditions and the weather. Adding the stormy, foggy and windy weathers will bring realism to game and truking both. trucking is not all about driving on the roads with trucks, It also includes driving in worst weather and conditions. adding this new feature will also gain much players interest and concentration on drving towards challenging and hard deliveries on the most bussiest road of ets2. Therefore some people will have it enabled and disabled so would be crazy to sync. As a side note: in virtual aviation communities, the client fetches information from weather forecast servers including (but not limited to) winds, temperatures, dew points, barometric pressures etc. It can be updated in automated intervalls or manually, and it can be deactivated (the latter is useful to fly under VFR rules if real weather would not permit). As ETS2' time is accelerated, it probably can not be syncronized with the actual local weather conditions. At least weather would not change in the same ratio as it would in real life. Imagine C-D road traffic jams with 2-3 FPS and rain/fog forced upon (and yes, that should be possible, since EU 1 HAS the 90 km/h forced upon us)... Whilst it's a nice idea - just like some guys have posted above, it will be very hard to sync, and, in my opinion, since the clocks in MP are slowed down as much, it will be much harder to script, and it would get too repetitive later on,as it is not GTA SA:MP where an Admin could change servers weather to his/her liking. Just my two cents, ETR DJ Hush Edit: I also see no chance of "messages that rain is coming your way" as the weather would be global, and not limited to a particular group of prefabs in the map. However, you should contact SCS Software about this, unless there's a mod or something. But it will be client-sided probably. Helped ya? Why not giving me a reputation point? Thanks! As much as I like the idea, we can't make this appear in the game.
