DevOps Krashnz Posted April 20, 2016 DevOps Share Posted April 20, 2016 This project has been on the back of my mind for the last coupe of months and I finally found some time to work on it yesterday and today. I've been collecting player positions from ETS2Map for a few months now and have always wanted to do some cool little heat maps. View the heat map here: https://atsmap.krashnz.com So this heat map is of ATS and is made up of 938,161 points. Each point (white pixel) on the map is a player location. The lighter the area, the more popular it is. Hope you enjoy

Digital
Great job on this, very interesting. Of course I go to Oxnard to see all the white dots, and I come across this guy: http://prntscr.com/av8tii There's quite a lot of people out of the map that I can see on here, especially around the Golden Gate Bridge area. Thanks for sharing!

Kielly
I actually like this. Would be cool though if you used different colors (aka red for extremely popular, white for not so popular) I always wondered where most of the drivers like to "hang out" lol PC Specs: Spoiler CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition Memory: 16GB DDR3 G SKILL 1600mhz Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (2GB) Mobo: MSI H81M-P33 Case: Antec VSK3000E Power Supply: EVGA 500w 80+ HDD: (3x) 1TB Western Digital
