Imagine, to use your skins and let all people to see them, you have to put the files into the server.That will take loads of space because all people will want to use their own skins, server (PC) will get busy and start to lag and freezing what leads us to complaints by all users of MP. We can only use files in the base game, which means you can put a Volvo Engine in a Mercedes truck, but you cannot make a skin out of game, import it and use it in multiplayer. It's unfair to force users to have to download skins of other users. -1, for the 100th time. Djinsomnia Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 For the same reasons that have been mentioned To add custom skins trailers mods so on and so forth would put strain on users systems whose PC's/laptops who not really have the specifications to run the game itself at a decent graphic rate. Unless you can come up with a way to package, distribute and force everyone on the server to have the skins for every truck and trailer that you want changed, it will never be, if theres more skins needed, ask SCS if they can bring out some more DLCs and Updates that add more skins and customisation to the games, till then, it aint gonna happen.
