Suggestion Name: Penalty Point System

Suggestion Description:

I think current in game fees are too small and unimportant.  Yes of course everyone can cheat money, so money fees are nonsense. So we need penalty points system, like its currently in EU and many other countries. We will need to someone make modification to get this working. Maybe even for money? I think ETS2mp stuff can start gathering donations to get more devs that will create new features in ets2mp (trought core or trough mods).

 So if you play wrong and get fees (like crashing, overspeeding, driving trough signals..) you should get penalty point. After some points, you will be unable to drive for some time (in real time).

I think this is possible to make it and it will make game more realistic but also it will handle many cases, when people break driving rules for longer time. It will no need that much in game admins anymore. 

 

For every 1 penalty player will get in game (classical -xxx currency) you will get 1 penalty point.  For every xx km you will drive, you will get 1 point less (only if you have any points on profile already). 

Of course it will be good if admins can decide which penalties should be penalised with this system.  Sometimes I just drive around curves and get wrong direction penalty..   but driving trough signals or overspeeding or crashing others? That will be nice to do.

For less chaos on roads, for more realistic drive and better feeling from game for all good drivers

This won't happen, people are given the opportunity to read the rules what's the point of giving them a second or third chance, banning and kicking will teach them instantly in my POV.

To much work for this suggestion, If you see someone breaking the rules just record everything and send the video to staff members, That Will get them banned for sure.

1. there is no kick or ban for overspeeding or driving trough signals 

2. i saw on stream how admins works and (dont take this as some insult) they work only on 100% proof accidents, like big crashes.. etc.  But most of reports cant be proven until you really record video nonstop. But who have computer and free hdd for it?  So we will make justice only for rich kids with good computers? People who cant record video will not get justice?

3. Kicking and banning will not change anything. 

4. I am talking about automatic system. Kicks and bans still need admins, which dont have time.  

Last year when I was in VTC with most kilometers we reported many people and only fraction of them get banned or kicked.  And its reason why so many people dont drive in multiplayer, because its still chaos. 

Every day I get rammed by someone, there need to be automated system that will solve issues, otherwise it will never be ok and it will still lose people (and never get good ones.. those who are feared of rammers). 

 

+ its more realistic.. kicks and bans does not exist in reality.  And this is simulation game. 

 

Sami - ok, points given. Send me pm with your address, i am gona stalk you and if you will violate just one rule from your country, you will be send to jail for ever..  how this sounds to you?  its simulator game!

-1 There's no need for innocent people to get banned for minor traffic offenses. If this suggestion is accepted, I feel that the amount of kicks and bans would treble and within 6 months of implementation, we would already see a whopping 66% of all players getting banned because of the points. If this would be an implementation there should be at least a greater increase of penalty points, but still at least 40 - 45% of players will get banned at least once for that. 

You can't really get banned for a minor offence, we want admins to focus on the more serious cases (e.g ramming, trolling, blocking, speedhack etc) and keep the ban rates low. I think something similar was suggested before...

I agree with  Positivetrucking168, there's no need for Players to get banned for minor traffic offenses, such as not stopping a Traffic Lights, correct lane etc.... Sorry, but not a good idea. Admins are more concerned about more serious offenses, like Ramming, Speedhack, blocking etc....

i think the ban and kick system can deal with all the accidents in MP.Also, what if a trollers get -10 points, then he can just keep driving and earn those points back, then continue to troll people.

The in game fees do not reliably represent a persons driving skills, as they are sometimes oversensitive and don't catch a lot of factors.
