Server problem

[b]Description of Issue[/b]: When I connect to server,it says that i'm connected,but the players have ping 0,can't text and can't write a command,like I'm disconnected.

Whether other players are moving after your "connected" message? Maybe firewall / antivirus blocking ets2mp application.

Have you tried to press F9 this is the short-cut key to hide the chat box, as for those near to you having 0ms, i am unsure why this would appear apart from they may have a very fast internet connection.

 

Try F9 and see if you can chat in game, also log out then back in again to see if it works after pressing F9

Firewall or virus program can cause this problem. Try to run the game as administrator.

Im not sure, but it sounds like a firewall, or maybe there is a problem with your install of ETS2MP. Try reinstalling the mod.

Try re-installing the mod, And turn your anti virus + firewall off.

I got a simular issue since Friday evening, but more that I cannot see any player names at all, Tab, F11, F9, y doesn't work any more.

I don't see if I'm online or offline (well, still online, there are other players ), but total no info screen hitting the Tab key.

Still I can play, sometimes ETS2 crashes. I've reinstalled everything, shut down firewall, antivirus etc., but still not working.

The only thing happend, my Windows 8.1 did have an update! I'm still trying if this is the problem, but I'm running out of options, but I'll keep trying.

Ok, other computer works just fine with Windows 7, must be a Windows 8.1 thing.

I think it's because of windows 8 or something wrong with your router.

Have you tried restarting/resetting your router?

Try to remove the update, try again, otherwise it will be more a network error.

Running windows 8.1 myself and I haven't got any single issue. It's working 100% good.

Thanks for the comments, I've tried it all, router was restarted, reset, but it stays, and the other (windows 7) computer works just fine.

Also removed the windows update, no succes. Also shut down firewall and antivirus completly, but nothing changed. It worked also just fine on Windows 8.1 till last Friday, again I can play, but without any info (even the red bar if you hit a wrong key, does not show), it is if the overlay does not show or work.

I'm going to backup my settings and remove it completly, and reinstall it all, perhaps that will work (I hope).

But somewhere in the next weekend, at the moment out of country for work.

I have windows 7.. I updated to 1.14,because i was in 1.12 only for MP. So,when the last update comes,I will try to run it as admin. And I am on Administrator account,so I can't run the game on Admin,because,well,I'm the admin.

P.S: After a half of a long drive (that means about 700 Km),the players stucked,and I can't type any message. Before that,it all gone fine.
