artificial intelligence could save us

Suggestion Name: artificial intelligence could save us

Suggestion Description: currently far too many postponements are made in-game and unfortunately many fall by the wayside. The goal of artificial intelligence in this context would be to be able to process the postponements and carry out a sanction

Why it should be added: initially this could relieve the work of game moderators as they will no longer have to worry about reports made in-game since it will be directly artificial intelligence which will take them into account secondly it could also encourage reports on the TMP website and finally it could also encourage fewer people to do anything on the servers

have you seen all the traffic jams caused by driverless cars or any of the other AI screwups? AI isn't ready yet.

yes indeed from this point of view we can see problems now it all depends on the coding that the AI will receive I think that it can be beneficial for the game moderators but also for the players a person who is going to be bumped into can report this person and its report will be instantly analyzed and processed by artificial intelligence. It is true that we are still far from perfection with artificial intelligence but potentially in the future this could be a major support in the fact that the game is doing better. as a leading Game moderator said so well, unfortunately they cannot be on the game 24 hours a day because they are still humans but with artificial intelligence we would have the possibility that the game would be much better than currently there are too many of trolls there are far too many people who do anything, the fact of reporting them and that the reports are instantly processed would allow and above all to send the message that we must respect the rules of TMP but in addition to that would allow also so that people can play the game peacefully.

you’re not going to ban or kick every person who rear ends you, that’d just be dumb. what could help us a rework of the /fix command so you don’t have to wait 5 minutes between uses when in busy areas. or just anticipate and don’t slam on the brakes at the last moment 🤷‍♂️. The punishment system should be getting any stricter, rather the opposite is true; that’s really not the issue. Also don’t forget about server tick time (1/4s on EUSIM1), client-server-client ping time and the lack of proper multithreading in the client code making collisions unavoidable in some cases. Artificial “intelligence” can’t recognise this sort of situations reliably enough.

no that's not what I mean the goal is that if we make a report we will be sure that it is processed 100% currently when we make reports in game unfortunately there are almost none and I say almost none who are processed the goal of artificial intelligence will be to be able to process the information and remedy the information if there must be a sanction to be applied to a person then yes in certain circumstances it would potentially be difficult for artificial intelligence to be able to judge situations hence why we could also add the fact that a Game moderator comes to validate the situation or that they really really manage to make artificial intelligence more than correct and therefore it takes his decisions themselves so it won't happen overnight but it could allow the game to be more playable with less cancer in the future

A report scoring system (aka players with highest scores' reports would have higher priority than null or negative scores) would be way easier to implement and would likely work much better. Penalties for spam-reporting could also make sense. A LIFO report queue is also a possibility in some situations.

I had already proposed this on another forum idea but unfortunately as a staff told me there could be a logjam in relation to the reporting and unfortunately this could put reports as a priority which then there are none definitely need

Your suggestion is based on the assumption that artificial intelligence has the capability to accurately process and understand the nuances of in-game situations, which may involve complex social interactions and context. But depending on the intricacies of the game and the types of violations, AI may struggle to make nuanced decisions, which could compromise a fair judgment.
