But now it has appeared again (Also YouTube vids are flickering)

Is the graphics card dying or is it a driver problem?

Oh the graphics card is  R9 270x MSI edition

Your card looks to be faulty. I'd recommend emailing MSI about the issue and give them these screenshots.

Check your card maybe he is not 100% connected to your board , and also check your vents for dust and other parts

Clean it and try again, if it still happen reinstall the drivers and also check your cpu driver

I shall check to see if everything is connected to the GPU properly such as the power cables as well but i'll just have to wait and see if it appears again seen as it happens every so often which is annoying when you are trying to sort it out :D

but i use this software called Drivermax which deals with all my drivers and it's really great

But this morning i uninstalled the video driver and then i did a scan for my computer to see if the graphic driver appeared or an updated version

And it didn't so im thinking that i either didn't need that driver (the current one is up to date) or for some reason i installed two of the same driver

But i suppose i'll have to wait and see

also a possibility is that usually these are symptoms of bad RAM (garbled characters, random characters appearing on screen) so I would check that out as well

Computer or the graphics ram?
