^ @solusvm Well, if you meant that the things you mentioned above didn't work for you, try the other things I listed such as disaling in-game mods or verifying the game cache (just google it if you're unsure on how to do it). And then if that still doesn't work, try the last option in the list which is disabling the firewall for ETS2 MP. I don't know any more things you can do than those I listed above, so just write a support ticket on TruckersMP's support site, or just wait for another person to maybe come with a solution which works for you in this topic.

A list you can look at; - Reinstall the MP mod - Launch as administrator - Verify game cache - Disable all mods (in-game) - Disable firewall for ETS2 MP

You have to downgrade to the compatible version for MP which is 1.24;
-
The new MP update compatible with the 1.25 will be worked on when the version is out of public beta (full release), so it will take some time, but it's not far away. But to just try to help you out a bit, here's a guide on how to downgrade if you haven't already seen it;

^ @Tim3Game The Winter mod was an exception, but required some work to implement. And talking about the Scout car, they used several years on that one, so it doen't matter how you implement something (taking from your statement), a mod requires alot of work to be made and adding third-party mods do also require it.

I could've afforded to pay that price. But I really don't want TruckersMP to becom a paid thing, they already have donations open for people willing to give if they want to, and that should be enough (from my view). And it was first of all the community that made TruckersMP big and great, charging money for it would kinda be like the April fools they gave us earlier (people didn't seem to like it when they thought it was real); So, I don't like the idea, I think it should stay free for everyone, and have donations as an option (which ProMods also has, since you can download it for free if wished).

Just adding new paintjobs will take alot of work, and then adding mods will probably be rejected by various reasons. Talking about company logos, if you mean VTCs, it has been discussed alot before and been rejected. But talking about company paintjobs in-game, it will take alot of time to make, and as mentioned, adding a mod for that is also probably not going to be accepted.

You need to downgrade your game to the compatible version, here's how to;

I can see other people's points that admins already announce it, it's a game rule etc. But I do actually quite like it, a small message popping up at 7pm in-game telling that lights must be on would benefit the servers from my view, and I think it's not that hard to implement. Of course, you have to follow the rules and so on, but the rule saying that lights must be on from x-x is a rule which is easy to make more visible and giving more weight on by adding your suggested feature. So, I would say this would weigh up the negative/work with the positive if it happened to be implemented.

You're probably in the need to downgrade to play the multiplayer.

Please help me Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Stream has stopped working

You can also try running the program as administrator which will hopefully solve your problem. -
I agree with you that it can be annoying, especially when it's alot of it in busy areas and so on. Me personally, deosn't really bother me, but I guess most people agree with you. So after all, I like your suggestion and I think it has potential to maybe becoming a feature or atleast a similar one.
-
If you did this in MP, it was probably the server time that caused the issue for you. And I think you need a truck to solve that issue (which you don't have now I assume). I recommend you downloading this starter profile when you are going in MP, it does also have some money for you to get started;

^ @buksikutya77 Doesn't really matter I think. Since if you're usually speeding in MP, I think you would do that in SP too. So I don't think it will "change" anything wether it's online or offlilne.
-
As stated before, you should suggest this to SCS. But to talk about your actual suggestion. I don't think that it would be very appealing for everybody, since almost everyone are speeding in MP. And having a "bip, bip" sound all the time when you are speeding, wouldn't really be that pleasent to have. And I think that the already existing feature were the numbers turn red when you're speeding, is enough to tell. But of course, if this feature could be turned on and off, it gets different. But still, I don't think it would be that popular (from my point of view).
-
As stated before, this has been suggested tons of times before not only incuding vans, but different cars and other vechicles, and been rejected. Reason is that it's first of all a truck game, and it will require lots and lots of work. TruckersMP used several years on the Scout car. So I think the chances for this getting added is fairly small.
-
So there are many, many people suggesting mods being added to the mod. They can be really cool and useful and so on. But it usually gets rejected by the same reasons and that it would be better to suggest it to SCS. But one thing that can be smart to keep in mind is that the multiplayer mod and SCS software mainly focuses on going one direction for ETS2 and the MP mod. They usually add game features and further develop the game/mod. If you want small tweaks to the game, you have to use mods in SP. Suggesting lots of either small or big mods to SCS too might not work, since SCS are focusing on adding new game features, further developing the game as mentioned, not add tons of fancy small tweaks or maybe big maps and so on. And same goes to suggesting to TruckersMP as it will require them lots and lots of work (there are of course exceptions like the Scout car). But, that's were the modding community comes in. Mods are made for having small tweaks to the game, or other stuff people would want to the game. The principle is that they do/add what the developers wouldn't usually do/add to the game. If you want lots of different features and addons, install mods for use in SP, if you want to play online with others, use the MP mod, but with a limited amount of mods. But you can of course suggest whatever you want to either TruckersMP or SCS, just wanted to say how it can be looked at so it's maybe easier to get an accepted or atleast positive responded suggestion. Not stating here that TruckersMP is poo poo without any mods, just wanted to say what I mean about the "adding mods to MP/ETS2" case. And to mention, when I say "that's how TMP and SCS does it..", that's not facts, it's just my thoughts and opinions about it.

To fix this, don't launch MP from the Steam interface. Launch it from the desktop icon you got when you installed the mod. I read that this would work (from the SCS forums), but haven't tried it myself, so it's not 100% guranteed that it will work/fix the problem.
-
Some reasons the game/mod might lag: - Your computer is not "beefy" enough to achieve high performance - Disable dev logger (as mentioned) - DLCs - try disabling some DLCs for example the Flag or Mighty Griffin DLC (if you have any of them) - Verifying game cache - doing that will probably boost your performance a little bit Practical things you can do in-game: - Avoid heavy populated areas - Lower graphics/resolution in-game
-
Here's also a small list you can walk through; - Verify game cache - Guide: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 - Launch as administrator - Disable firewall for ETS2 (or atleast check it) - Reinstall MP and ETS2 - Disable all the mods you've got (if you have any)
-
Well, as long as you didn't click the virus link, that wouldn't affect the crashing of ETS2 and ATS. But to help with your problem, try reinstalling, remove mods, verify cache, run as administrator, disable firewall etc.

Hey So I'm wondering about one thing regarding sound mods (engine sounds). Is it possible to have a sound mod for your truck and make it compatible with the multiplayer, so I'm the only person hearing the tweaked sound, and other people just hear the standard sound from my truck? I think I've seen this being talked about before, but I can't remember, and I'm also not even sure if it has been talked about in the first place. So yeah, is that possible or not? Thanks

It's really hard to have AI in the multiplayer as the mod is client based, not server based.
-
Yes, but an accepted report turns into a ban, so that's why you can appeal for that ban. Edit: Sorry, I missed the situation here But still, would take alot of time to do and so on. But sorry for the mistake, I mixed accepted reports with declined.
-
Well, that's why appeals exist. If you think it was declined wrongly, just make an appeal, and then email feedback if that gets declined too.
