  1. Hi @Detail50,

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues. I haven't experienced this issue myself but, make sure that you are logged into the same email as the email you're activating with and make sure that you have the email written out correctly!

Here are some knowledgebase articles that may help you fix your issue!

  2. Hi @keithh,

I've had the Fatal Error issue myself before. I think I'd suggest verifying your game files before anything. It is my "go to" with any issue like this. To do this follow these steps:

Steam Library > Right Click on ETS2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity...

Then let steam carry out the process and allow anything that may be missing to re-download. I will link a solved topic below so that you can try some other solutions :D

    I hope this helps,

    Owen :D

  3. Hey there @atharvaramdurgkar,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing some issues! Firstly, I'd verify the integrity of your ETS2 (Steam Library > Right Click on ETS2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify..). I would also then reassure yourself that you are definitely in Opt-Out of all betas on the betas drop down, just in case. I will link the correct knowledgebase down below so you can re-familiarise yourself with the process! Finally, I would suggest completely reinstalling TruckersMP if all else fails as it may be a case that you're missing a specific file etc.

If the problems continue to not be resolved you can always get direct help from the Support Team here > https://truckersmp.com/support/ticket/create

    I hope this helps,

    Owen :D

  4. Hey @FrischeReibungGER,

I too have experienced issues with graphics settings over the years. It took me a while to find suitable graphics but as long as you learn to understand their different meanings and what's usually a good setting for them, and for you, then you're usually set to go. I will link a steam community post for a graphics tutorial. Keep in mind this is for very low spec pc's and it is in no way necessary to set them like this to run with huge FPS counts. However, it teaches you what the different settings do and what they'll do if you increase or decrease their levels. I find that messing about with the different levels usually helps me figure out what's best for me. I would also suggest writing down the settings that run the game as you'd like just so you don't ever forget. Or take a screenshot :)

    I hope this helps,

  5. Hi @szywert98,

The free cam teleporting system does not work for players in MP, it does however work if you use it in singleplayer. Although the best way to save yourself if you've crashed etc in a busy area is to simply F7. It causes no damage to surrounding users and can be helpful in getting you to a place to repair. It can make your journey ever so slightly longer but it is worth that when you're avoiding causing issues in populated areas.

As for the loading in before your loading screen is finished. I'd make sure that wherever you log off the night before is a safe place to log back in. You'd typically want to aim for a NCA (Non Collision Area) to avoid any problems or somewhere secluded where you aren't spawning in the middle of the road. If you do end up with no other choice parking safely away from the road on the grass areas etc is usually quite a good place to park, but try and avoid having to resort to this!

    I hope this helps,

    Owen :D

  6. Hi @Ballistic.Hellcat,

Driving for a VTC is great fun if you find the best one for you! The VTC area is located here https://truckersmp.com/vtc and you can browse different VTCs whether they're new or verified etc!

To apply they need to be on the Recruitment: Open and then they'll have their own recruitment process. Many with their own websites will do it through there or their discords etc. It's simply a case of reading the correct section that explains how to apply :D For example, a VTC like Prime Logistics (I'll link them here for credit) hires via their website. So go to their VTC page and follow the instructions there to apply. A lot of VTCs use different systems, so it's all down to finding the one for you and reading the information on there page!

I hope this helps and you find a VTC for you!

  7. Hi @xJazzy,

Unreliable connection is usually caused by your internet connection. I will link some possible solutions down below. There are also some minor fixes like using F9 and F11 (turning off chat and your UI, respectively). Here are some solved solutions to take a look out:

  8. Hi there!

There are a few solutions I have for helping with connection problems. Some of the simplest involve using the F9 and F11 keys (turning off chat and the UI respectively). These will gain you some fps and make it easier on your system! I will also link some solved topics below to give you an idea of some other solutions which may be of help. It might also be worth closing any applications that are unnecessarily open :D

  9. You must head to your Steam Library > Properties > Betas > Select the drop down menu > NONE - Opt out of all betas

This should then update your game to the most recent version available. Make sure you let it download fully before starting TruckersMP :D

I see you received some great advice from someone already.

I would also recommend LinkedIn Learning and Udacity.

In general (for any languages): try to do little projects for yourself or for someone else (only do for someone else once you think you got enough skills). For me, doing projects helps me to test my skills and also dive alot deeper into the language I use in order to come up with (great) solutions.

Working on your own project can give you alot more motivation as you are your own project leader, customer and developer. You decide how the project is going to end up looking ?.

Doing exercises from courses can also be fun, but it feels like you're being forced to do something which might decrease your motivation at some point. In case that happens, I would recommend to just change the exercise's case/topic/story to whatever you want, while still using the theory you learned from the exercise.

This is some really helpful advice! I really appreciate it :D Thanks a lot and I'll keep it in mind when I find some time to start learning!

  11. @Syln He hasn't utilised the wrong sub-forum. He probably could have used the help section. The guides are simply that, they're posts to show users how to do something. Just thought I'd let you know :D

But yes, all units are located at the bottom of game settings.

  12. I assume you're either trying to play a non-promods server and are accidentally selecting promods or you are purposefully selecting promods and you don't have the relevant files. You must download the promods map files from their site (you must be registered to access the download page). Also be aware that you must have all map dlcs currently available for ETS2 for Promods to work :D

Just in case you need further reference. Here's an article for installation in terms of TMPhttps://truckersmp.com/kb/614

  13. Hi @Jaxus,

Try verifying the integrity of the game file! To do this go to your library on steam > Right click on ETS2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity..

Let it update and regain any missing files then try launching TMP :D

    I hope this helps,
    Owen :)
