  1. Look forward to seeing you all there!
  2. the fact that i wasn't already following is criminal and i immensely apologise

  3. Any system where a punishment is issued or extended due to the number of reports against a player will not work practically. It would make it easier for users to target a player with reports, just to get them banned for a long period of time. Every report is looked at individually, and rule offences seen in the video will have appropriate punishment applied. The number of reports alone should not play a factor, but if there are multiple reports and they are all reviewed by staff who decide they contain bannable evidence, then I think a harsh punishment should be applied. Quality over quantity. I understand that being banned for an accident or a slip up can be annoying, but at the end of the day the ban is still fair. If you accidentally cause an accident in real life, you will still have to pay for the damages (or your insurance will). In TruckersMP if you cause an accident, you can still be banned.
  4. I understand where you're coming from, but when someone has clearly broken the rules, and there is a clear video of it in a report - I personally don't believe it's fair to deny a report just because the user wasn't directly affected by the incident. I believe all players should have a chance to report an issue, to keep the platform safe.
  5. I agree with Purrie and Fayez on this one. The first VTC I ever joined was one called B. Trug Logistik. It's a tiny VTC, but that's because it's not a serious VTC. It was a group of friends who like driving together, and thats what got me into this community. If I hadn't seen the VTC in my friend's bio all those years back, I might never have joined TruckersMP. Not all VTCs need to be massive. Like Purrie said, you need to feel at home. I definitely enjoyed my time at B. Trug Logistik and it was a very nice introduction to the community. I think a larger company could have overwhelmed me at first.
  6. I am against this idea. I think this would leave reporters open to too much abuse, with the risk that banned users might harass the reporters to get "forgiven". I don't think we should make a system like this with such a risk, nobody deserved to be abused for reporting a violation of the rules.
  7. This one is very difficult. It would be impossible for the GMs at the event to monitor the entire map of Europe, whilst also dealing with reports of stuff going on in the actual convoy. I personally would prefer to see people free-roaming, causing no practical issues, than people ramming everyone at the convoy - and I think that we should focus our GM resources on monitoring the actual convoy itself, where rule breakers will be most problematic. Obviously if a GM noticed someone freeroaming, I'm sure they would take the appropriate action. But it is very difficult to monitor the entire map of Europe for freeroamers when theres a 1000+ player convoy happening which requires most of the moderation attention.
  8. WOO ITS TIME TO PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRTAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY #TMP11
  9. Look out for that pilot car, more like look out for that convoy of 300 pilot cars!
  10. I reckon you should tell me where Haulie is Can't wait to have Haulie in my house!!
  11. I was only able to attend part of it due to the delay, but what I did attend was great! Can't wait for the next event
  12. Enforcing a limit would likely do the opposite - and make the convoys spread further apart. Most convoys have a "lead speed", usually no more than 90km/h that the lead of the convoy always sticks to. What happens though is people crash, or lag out, and a gap is formed. In order the close the gap and keep the convoy together, fast speeds are sometimes required. If there is a lower limit, it would be harder to close these gaps in the convoy.
  13. well, well, well... it appears i've switched sides
  14. Suggestion Name: Update the TFM Staff Role Nugget thingy Suggestion Description: You may be aware that TruckersFM re-branded a few months ago with a slightly new, redesigned logo. However, I have noticed that the role here on the forum still displays the old one, and so I suggest it is updated to the new one. Any example images: This is what it currently looks like Why it should be added: Because otherwise its outdated xd
  15. This would be very helpful, alongside other command aliases that were removed with the new chat system. For now though, a similar effect can be achieved if you type /r and then press Enter on your keyboard to autofill the command
  16. Yeah I've also noticed the brightness of my mirrors has been strange lately, it can be especially annoying in places like the inside of a ferry where it gets VERY bright in the mirrors so you can barely see at all
  17. Hi there, There have been some bugs with winter mod, however the developer of Winter Mod has created a fix for these. The fix can be downloaded from the developer's website here, scroll down until you find the link for "Download Frosty v10 Improvements & Fixes Pack". Once downloaded, this can be stored in your ETS2MP\mods directory (the same place as the rest of the winter mod files) This was supported in a recent TruckersMP update, as you can see here: Hope this helps!
  18. I agree that having a limit on the highways that aren't really a part of the city can be quite annoying
  19. The convoy was loads of fun! Massive thanks to all the TruckersMP staff who organised and helped host this event. Considering all the challenges it presented, the convoy was handled super well despite being nearly 2000 players in length at points. I think the VTC parking thing worked really welll and would be good to see this again at future events. Only thing I thought would've been better, was to better communicate the custom paintjob! I only found out when I saw it during route 4 that the thing existed (and I'd been driving since route 2) Would be nice to see that sort of thing in the blog post at future events - I could probably also just be more observant too XD Thanks again team
