  1. Philip, It happened to me and I was able to move my saves/profile over and when restarting the game, logged in with my registered account and it worked for me.
  2. I beleive this is a problem with Steam, not the game. If you like, I can offer to control your PC via teamviewer and see If I can fix it for you? Send me a PM or add me on steam to arrange a time. Keep in mind, I don't do this for everyone.
  3. For anyone reporting lost saves or profile information. Anytime you update your SCS software, its advised to make a backup of your profile data in your my documents/ets2 forlder. Normally, updates rename your current profiles to -profiles-version-number-here-. If they exist on the previous version, copy your saves/profile to the new ETS profile folder. All should work again. Lets know how you get on.
  4. My first guess without further info, is you may be having a DLC issue. Can you post the crash log from your ets2 folder in my documents.
  5. Please post in english. Щелкните правой кнопкой мыши внутри пара, ETS2 и перейти к свойствам / бета-версии, и отказаться от бета-версии. Проверьте свою игру, и попробуйте запустить его. Right click inside steam, ETS2 and go to properties / beta, and OPT OUT of the beta. Verify your game, and try launch it. His post reads:
  6. I can confirm this was a bug, but you could fix it both ways as described by FirestarteR93 / Kravaty. I haven't had that issue since the update. I will be playing most of the night, so I will be looking out for it.
  7. Runtime issues generally happen when you're missing C++ redistro packages. Install the download and if its still the same, you'll need to provide more information about your OS.
  8. For the runtime errors, make sure to install the latest .net frameworks and do a google for C++ redist packages. That should help. Report back if you continue to have issues.
  9. Thanks PinkPanther, for making my life easier
  10. You come here looking for help from those who spend countless hours answering questions for free (normally the same questions over and over), and then you compain about the answers you receive. That's a bit rude, isn't it?
  11. You need to open command prompt, and type in: ipconfig /all This will list your ip configuration including your local ip. (look for your local ip) probably starting with 192.*.*.*etc put the ip into your webbrowser, ask your parents to contact your ISP for the login should they not have this information. Once inside the router, look for port forwarding. And forward the stated port in previous post. Hope it helps.
  12. Download the drivers for your video card and don't use the default drivers that come with Windows 7 and 8. On your crash log, you have no GPU listed.
  13. Nevermind... I am so blind lol Thanks man.
  14. I have the spawn logs, but i dont see anything for chat as of yet... Maybe its time for a visit to the opticians.
  15. Is there a chat log somewhere to be found after being in-game?
  16. \My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\ and post here the game.crash.txt in code tags please. Without it there is no way to know what the problem is. Please also do as I suggested above.
  17. Uninstall again, download ccleaner, clean your registry, and pc temp information. Reinstall MP. Remove any mods in the mods directory (sp folder where your config is), only do this if you can't disable mods in-game. Re-install your latest graphics drivers, Then try it. What OS are you on btw? Can you also post your crash log?
  18. One of two things. Your GPU is not listed on your crash log, which is highly unusual. I suggest you reinstall your graphics drivers with the lattest versions for your operating system. What version of windows are you using? Your memory is telling us that the game is trying to use more memory than is available. This is common when using mods which are resource hungry! Disable any mods you have installed on the game by deleting the mods in the mod folder. Only do this if you can't disable them from in-game. Your error log also tells of a possible injection into the games memory.
  19. I've had this bug, its rare. Try F7+enter, and if it says after that, when you press F6 if you still have a load, try deliver it again, if it fails to register as delivered you will need to cancel the job. Maybe someone else here knows another way of doing it? But once you drop the trailer, you can not pick it back-up either.
  20. Can you paste your log into http://pastebin.comand provide the link so it can be read in full?
  21. Hi and congrats on your first post. Use the frieght market and pick a job that is on routh to your friends job. The jobs don't normally come all going to the same location for each driver.
  22. Download http://ets2mp.com/index.php?page=download Opt out of any beta on Steam and use the default version.
  23. You can install benchmarking tools to test your PC performance, a quick google will bring up some common suggestions. Without more details as to the problem you describe, its hard to pinpoint a possible cause for your issue. As requested, the pc specs would help, including your connection speed.
  24. I may stand corrected, but i do believe this may be a bug, as I too have once experienced the reverse of what you describe, or perhaps you are using mods with customizations, which can also cause similar issues. Do you have any mods currently enabled?
  25. Normally you can find the crash log here: C:\Users\YOUR-NAME-GOES-HERE\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Normally named: game.crash.txt If you bought it on Steam, try verify the files. My guess, is you are missing some C++ redistributable packages. What OS/ & version of .Net are you using? On the start menu, choose run. In the open box, enter regedit or regedit.exe - either will work. You must have administrative privileges on your user account to run regedit. In the registry, open the sub-key by navigating to it's location, formally: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP.
