Server kicking me for unreliable connection

Question

Hello, so I've decided to reinstall truckers mp after I've upgraded my PC and when I enter the server Simulation 1 I get kicked after about 5 or 10 minutes. It says something about unreliable connection. Is there any fix or should I just wait for another update?

Edit: Now I've change to the other Simulation server and the connection constantly breaks when I arrive in a city.

Hello @Pulse_163,

Please, try the following solutions:

> Avoid using Wi-Fi.
> Avoid uploading or downloading and playing MP at the same time.
> Avoid doing Windows Updates at the same time.
> Avoid having too many users or devices at the same time into your network.
> Avoid using streaming services at the same time.
> Check your firewall settings into your router/switch.
> Prefer using servers nearest to your location.
> Try to talk with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and see if you can come up with a solution. Ask your ISP if they support internet profiles such as Fast path or Interleave and ask for Interleave. Interleave will raise your ping but it will do more packet checks by your ISP.

And the best solution is that you have better internet.

Hello,

First of all I / We would need to know what location you are in and which server you are trying to connect to.

Here are some things below that me be of help to you, the first suggestion 'turn router off for 1 minute and restart it' may be all it takes to fix your ping issue.

Make sure that you have no applications running in the background that could be using internet bandwidth and also make sure that anyone using your connection is not downloading or uploading anything.

You can try,

Turn router off for 1 minute and restart it

If using wireless making sure that the router is not placed so that it is next to anything electrical such as a television

Purchasing a Cat6 Ethernet Cable and so connecting through cable instead of wirelessly

Clearing the ARP Cache https://techjourney.net/clear-delete-and-refresh-arp-cache-entry/

Resetting your network adapter http://www.home-network-help.com/netsh-winsock.html

Using a VPN service to allow for a possibly stabler connection to the game servers via better routing

Clearing your DNS Cache https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+To+Clear+Your+DNS+Cache

Changing DNS to Google's Public DNS, https://www.techworm.net/2016/08/change-default-dns-google-dns-fast-internet-speeds.html

You can also try resetting the Winsock Catalog

step 1: click on windows search program and type "cmd" enter

step 2: once you're in, type "netsh winsock reset catalog" enter

step 3: type "netsh int ip reset.log hit" enter

step 4: restart your computer

Additionally,

Last resort:

Reset your network adapter, firewall and DHCP.

This page will guide you through what you need to do and explains for different Windows operating systems as you scroll down.

You type

·         netsh int ip reset reset.txt

·         netsh winsock reset

·         netsh advfirewall reset

into a command prompt window

Please try all of these methods, if you are still experiencing issues please say so!

I did all of that.

Ok, I will try, but the problem seems to be fixed if I join Simulation 2 with directx 64 bit. I will try sim 1 later today. I will try these solutions if it occurs anymore.

Nothing that I did fixed anything. I am from Romania and I'm trying to connect to Simulation 1. I have a good connection on all other games without any lag spikes or high ping.
