Restricted speed to 150km/h

Hello Truckers and MP Team,

 

why is not allowed speed more than 150 km/h? It is normal that cars are fast as truck? This is MP game for fun, for truckers, for everything. I think that this is huge mistake this speed restrictions. Single player is more better now than MP.

Create new server called restriction server.

Speed restrictions were added to limit the number of accidents. Naturally, the faster you go the more chance you have of crashing. Someone speeding 200 km/h down a road can wreck very easily into someone else.

Hello @gregor911, to answer your question: No, it's not normal that "cars are as fast as trucks". But it isn't normal either that trucks go at 150 Km/h or cars go at 250 Km/h on any European roads. The limit was set mainly to stop players driving their cars at 250 Km/h and causing lots of accidents.

 

About sending a suggestion or feedback ticket, I would not recommend this. There have been lots of them and they were rejected all but one: The speed limit will be removed (no idea about when) from the EU#4 server, so players can drive as fast as they want in a non-collision environment, no danger of crashing into others.

Hey,

 

We noticed that many accidents and instances of reckless driving were caused by driving at high speeds, so this is an attempt to reduce that and to improve the in-game experience of all our players. While we know some of our players are true professionals, we feel this decision was necessary.
