my ETS 2 MP does not remember anything

I installed ETS 2 MP on my new laptop , allready had it on an older laptop, but now it doesnt remember my login details, when I save a game it doesnt actually save it. so whhen I restart I am back to where I started last time. Allready made a new game but it doesnt work either.

Does your game work fine in singleplayer? Can you also please clarify what you mean by "login details", is this the login screen on TruckersMP? Your screen with the profiles?

in singleplayer everything works just fine, and yes the login screen on truckers mp where you also select "remember details" and wich server, and selecting "remember details" also doesnt work.

Please ensure you are logged in to the correct Steam account, the one you registered with at TruckersMP, when you are attempting to log in. If you are, please try to reinstall the TMP mod, and run it as an administrator. 

 

If you are entering the correct login information at the login screen, and it is not working, but works fine on the website and forums, please see below:

 

Open notepad or a text editor.
You need to write 2 rows, on 1st your email, on the 2nd your password.
Now, copy the email from notepad and paste it in the ingame login screen using keyboard shortcut keys (CTRL+C for copy, CTRL+V for paste - ~ Please notice that these shortcuts may be different in your country. If they don`t work, please inform yourself how you can do it on google ~).
Do the same for the password.
Login.

If the solution didn`t work, you must have a strange character in the password that can`t be recognized by the login system ingame.
To bypass this problem, you should change your account password to only latin letters (a to z) and digits (0-9). Please notice that by doing this your password might lack in strength.
In order to change your password, you must login at TruckersMP.com, press Edit Account, insert the new password twice, confirm the old password twice and then press save data.

I hope that one of these fixes worked and you`re now able to login ingame.
If they didn`t, please let us know, together with a brief description of what you did.

I can login perfectly, but even when I select "remember me" I have to fill in everything again when I start up the game a next time. And the next problem is that even tho it says it will save my game automatically when closing the game properly it doesnt safe it at all. but when I save in the offline game it works perfectly fine.

Could you tell me what happens when you do a save manually, close the game and open it back loading in that save? Does that work to save your in game progress??
