Reinstall ETS2MP - profile lost

Hi guys! I had to reinstall windows entirely and now I have no MP profile with level 73 driver and all my progress. Does it mean that no data is saved online and it's stored on PC like in ancient times when no online services existed? In 2016? Spent 443 hous in game to get this? That's really bad. And the money is lost after all.

^Clark made such profile for new users, who don't want to play in SP until they buy a truck - The profile has enough $ to buy a truck and so on:

If you didn't make a backup of your save profile, that might have unfortunately happened.

 

But I think you can try to get it back if you right click ETS2 (in Steam), and click "Backup Game Files".

I'm not sure if that works, but it's better trying anyway.

If you try launching EuroTruck Simulator 2 in Singleplayer mode you should be able to load the save if it is still in the Documents Folder.

If it still shows no saves available then yes I believe you have lost your data sadly.

Just check in single player and see how you go

There is nothing you can do anymore at this point. You should have saved your ~/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles folder before reinstalling. You have to start from 0 again now
