Drive Partitions and MP Mod

I have no experience in partitioning drives and all that.  My friend has his Steam installed to his C:/ drive, and has put his steam library in his D:/ drive.  This appears to cause issues with the MP mod. Is this known?  Is this actually the issue?

 

Edit: To be clear the "issues caused" with MP is: it won't launch.  Functions fine from steam, but the MP shortcut doesn't work.

As far as I know, you can just set the MP installer to find the game in the D: drive, as long as it's navigating to the game directory (And it's installed) and it should work fine.

 

Is he installing MP into the D: drive aswell?

Hello @Eje005, 

 

Yes this has been known to cause issues he must have the multiplayer installed on the same drive as his steam - therefore requiring his ETS2 and ATS to be on the same drive.

I have ETS2 on games partition(E:\), the mod is in C:\ drive - everything works fine on my computer. Heck, I had ETS2 on ramdrive and the mod on C:\ drive, and that worked as well.

Strange, the problem seemed to fix itself,  though that doesn't explain it.
