Strange, the problem seemed to fix itself, though that doesn't explain it.

I have no experience in partitioning drives and all that. My friend has his Steam installed to his C:/ drive, and has put his steam library in his D:/ drive. This appears to cause issues with the MP mod. Is this known? Is this actually the issue? Edit: To be clear the "issues caused" with MP is: it won't launch. Functions fine from steam, but the MP shortcut doesn't work.

For what it's worth I have officially tried this and it results as I expected. Jobs spawn, but are not replaced and thus dwindle until there are none. ^ Getting towed to a repair point does the same thing everything else does for me: spawns jobs but after those are done there's nothing. Is this how it's meant to work for the MP? Seems like I should just go play SP until External Contracts comes and fixes it.

^ This works, but I would have to do this after almost every delivery. Certainly after every 2 deliveries. Makes organizing a little convoy with a friend really difficult.

I have not tested it in ATS, but in ETS2 all that resetting the economy did was give me more temporary jobs that would then time out with nothing to replace them.

I had this issue in ETS2 and made a big ol' thread about it. Then External Jobs came out and put a nice fancy bandaid over the problem. Here we are again. This time there's no External Jobs so I have a strong motivation to figure this out. Issue: Jobs time out and are not repopulated. Resetting the market/teleporting to garage/resting will spawn more jobs, which will then time out and not repopulate. If I want jobs I have to do one of those three things, and then it is only an extremely temporary solution. This makes convoying with a friend/friends impossible because I rarely have a similar job or any jobs, and I am always teleporting or restarting the game. I have gone through all of the steps suggested on my ETS2 game, and none of them worked, so I can only conclude that they won't work in ATS either.

It might be different issues we're having. You mentioned when you go to locations they actually do have jobs. What does that look like? Yes. The first server I went to was America, then I switched to EU1 because there were actual people on it.

I did :/. I tried the multiplayer save game located on the forums here. Same issue. I backed up my original save game before I took it to MP as well and it's the same on the backup.

I've now got half the ADR, half Long Range, one away from maxed High Value, and two Fragile. The job list is still empty after the jobs expire. It may be worth mentioning that it is nearly always empty when I sign in as well. Again this has to do with how long it's been since I refreshed the jobs, but it's pretty clear to me what's happening is the jobs do not repopulate with out my hand forcing them to. Once they expire, that's it. Once they all expire there are no jobs and I have to tow or fast travel to a garage.

It doesn't happen just often though. It happens constantly. Jobs don't spawn unless I tow or fast travel. I don't see how unlocking the last third cities will solve this. If I deliver something from Paris to Amsterdam, and then there are no jobs anywhere except in Venice, which expires in 1 hour, what good is that to me? I'll drive the 10 hours to get there and that job will have expired and there will be no more left in that city.

It isn't that there's too few jobs, its that had I done another shipment there would be NO jobs. We're talking the entire map down to ~10 jobs with the majority of cities having none. It seems very odd to me for most of the map to have no jobs. Not to mention every time I log in there are no jobs as well. Or in the bizarre case of the uploaded video: one single job.

I have the top half of Germany and Amsterdam unlocked. I didn't actually edit it, so sound levels are sure to be odd, and length is surely unnecessary. What to look for: 1.) Starting up with a single job, often this will be zero jobs depending on how long it's been since last play. 2.) Strangely low expiration date on jobs after I tow myself. I suspect this is somehow linked to the "time skip" amount. If I rest or fast travel they jobs have much higher expiration dates. This is reproducible. Take note how there's two pages of jobs for Brussles and the times. 3.) Fun part where I'm going the speed limit on a ramp and someone hits me from behind (likely due to lag since I don't receive damage) and he curses me out as if it was my fault. 4.) Arrive and deliver job. When I check the job list it looks ok, but when I select the town I left, Brussles, there's only a few jobs, and they're about to expire. The jobs that had much shorter dates already expired and were not replaced. If I had done a longer trip, all the jobs would be expired but I did not want to make the video too long.
