Why should it be added?: Firstly, it causes a lot of chat spamming, which is annoying. Secondly, it causes lag because the pilots are waiting in busy areas for someone to pilot. And lastly, it could be seen as a loophole for cars to go through Europort. Now the 2nd one- Suggestion Name: Make an official minimum number of trucks to form a convoy Suggestion Description: I know there's an unofficial limit for pilot cars to join a convoy (I believe it's 5 or 10), but players are complaining that it isn't an official rule, so if it was made official, then they wouldn't have anything to complain about. Any example images: Nope. Why should it be added?: Stop complaints, and also manage the number of pilots in a convoy, because at the moment there could be 10 cars piloting 2 trucks, making a 'convoy'. A convoy means 5 trucks+Trailer or more (taken from In-game rules) People can already get kicked/banned for innapropiate use of pilot car. Car Abuse of Pilot Paintjob - Kick / Ban Acting as administration, or otherwise abusing the Pilot paintjob. Please note: We prefer only 2 Pilot cars per convoy depending on size. edit: So 1 pilot car per 5 trucks. I wonder if you look both ways when you cross my mind.. IE, no follow car or "escort" (sounds wrong) I was going to offer dashcam recording services to lone drivers or convoys using the scout cars so that anyone who can't record can still have access to video evidence of anyone who trolls or rams them on their journey...We only have beacon lights for emergency purposes and use plain paintjobs not the pilot paintjob. Multiple pilots for single truck isn't right. Single or multiple escorts on the other hand... that is quite common in real life, though, with the ingame loads, i prefer a single escort, and rather have it change it's place according to the road we're on ( ie, behing on high-ways /multi lane roads, else in front ). The reason i prefer a single escort, is that we don't have weight restricted bridges and sutch ingame, neither do we have loads that means we'd need more than one lane, even in tunnels ( with the exception of one near stavanger, but that tunnel is just about 1,5 lanes so....), thus the need for them to preform a rolling road block isn't present ( and is actually a bannable offence ). so, i don't see the need for pt.1, and pt2 : well, as long as the terms are mixed up as they are here, i'd say a single escort / pilot, for single truck should be allowed, though, it really should be cargo dependant. In terms of the first suggestion, this is a bannable offence so people who are spamming the chat can be either kicked or if they continue, banned from the TruckersMP network.
