ETS2 problem with downgrading the game

Hey there everyone, as the title says im not able to play because i need to downgrad the game, i did that but it gives me some sort of error.

It says in Swedish ''Disk draining Games'' something like that, i dont know what type of error is that. I followed each step by step and did correctly as they said =)

Before moving to solved I'd like to know how you solved the problem, so other users with your same problem can get help from your posts.

Well....when i removed all ETS2 and MP folder i forgot one folder and it was locate here

Its some sort of old file which belongs to the beta ( Which i had before) Thats why it said ''old version blablabla'' haha =)

Could you explain better your problem? The game is downgraded to 1.19 correctly from what I see.

 

Open the game and look in the profile selection if the version is 1.19.

Hey there,

Now i removed Game-chace and re-installed the game also re-installed ET2MP2 

i downloaded the game again and i downgraded to 1_9 as you see in the picture






I still get the error and cant enter the game :/ This shit gives me headache, i never have any problem untill now 

Why cant ETSmp2 just support lateste verison so people dont get this type of bug? I want to play so badly, but this shit doesn't work

Have you tryed uninstalling the mod and downloading it again instead of using the download you already did? Also try to restart Steam and open ETS 2 in SP first.

 

Also are you sure that you set the correct directory for ETS2MP installation?

 

Developers are still working on the new version of MP, and that usually takes some time, it' not an easy thing.

Ok. I see. That error is saying that you have ETS 2 playing.

 

Try to close Steam and then install ETS2MP, or reboot your PC and install ETS2MP without opening Steam, and open it as administrator.

I tried with close the steam, still same error. I dont knoe whats wrong?`I also tried with running ETMp2 as administrator.

Have you tried re-installing ETS2MP but deleteing the Launcher in > Your documents > ETS2MP folder and the Launcher file, delete it and then try and run ETS2MP

You should have a "Launcher.dat" file also inside of there, it appears you are missing it for some reason.

I removed ETS2MP and re-installed ET2 on steam

And installed lateste ETS2mp and i get this error :/_

btw.... its ''none-beta''

Uninstall the mod from your control panel where it says, uninstall and remove programs, completely delete ETS2MP and the ETS2MP folder in your documents, then re-install and it should work as I have no problems with it.

I uninstalled it and removed ETSmp2 folder and installed ETS2MP again and still not working :/ Still gives me that error

Remove ets2mp

Remove ets2

remove steam

Most importantly: BACKUP your profile!

 

Download new setup for steam 

Right click the setup and run it as admin

Install ets2

Install ets2mp

I re-installed ETS2 on Steam and its ''none beta''

i even removed those ETS2MP foloders including those stuff inside :/

Uhm.. Where have you installed MP?

 

It should be in this directory.

 

32-bit system
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2

64-bit system
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2

 

Also are you sure that Firewall doesn't block MP? I can't understand how it's not working.

I unistalled EuroTruck 2 game 2 on Steam then removed whole Eurotruck 2 folder

Then i unustalled Eurotuck 2MP folder

Then i installed again Eurotruck 2 and checked for safetu if its the lateste and its none beta aslo installed lateste Euro truck 2 mp and checked if it worked.....but this shows up everyrime and doesnt work






btw..... single mod works perfecr without any problem = It has also worked perfect with MP before this update came

be sure you install the correct version of the multiplayer because the window that you can choose directX and openGL that is old model we don't use it anymore 

when you click on the shortcut icon on the desktop it must start instantly without the notification

Well...its the lateste version, i downloaded 2 times yesterday from ETS2mp.com just to make sure its the lateste.

btw...that notification  can be turn off,

Well, if you downloaded it again yesterday it means that you're opening the wrong archive and using an older one.

 

Clean the download folder and download again the mod, the ability too choose directx and opengl is not there anymore.
