reinramirez
hello everyone, i was wondering if it is possible to have the second monitor to display the right part of the truck, its like playing on single monitor and the second monitor is just for the right part of the dashboard so i dont have to press look interior right to view the right sidemirrors. my video card is a gtx970, I will be borrowing the seconds monitor(same resolution but different brands) since I only play occasionally, but Id like to have the best experience when those times come(work life sucks). or is there a way to fake the monitor on the left? so I can have the view of 3 monitor in 2 real monitor? thanks lets build a pc! videogamer
since i don't have an Nvidia card i can't help you very much but on the AMD cards there is an option called eye infinity that allows you to have up to 3 displays displaying the same picture
Sysgen
Of course , once the second monitor is connected just enable nvsurround, it will create a new monitor which is the combination of the two. From this point windows only see one monitor, not two, and the game also will see only one monitor but with a high resolution, something like 3200X1080
Guest
You will need to have Nvidia driver 344.11 acording to the Steam forums(AMD users should be able to since at least a couple of years ago) and then you can use the Customized mode (r_multimon_mode 4) Then go to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/ and create a file called multimon_config.sii and drop in the following base multimon config for left hand drive trucks: SiiNunit{multimon_config : _nameless.0599.E428 { normalized_ui_x: 0.333333 normalized_ui_width: 0.333333 monitors: 2 monitors[0]: _nameless.04FB.A768 monitors[1]: _nameless.04FB.9EE0}monitor_config : _nameless.04FB.A768 { name: center normalized_x: 0.333333 normalized_y: 0.000000 normalized_width: 0.333333 normalized_height: 1.000000 horizontal_fov_relative_offset: 0.000000 vertical_fov_relative_offset: 0.000000 heading_offset: 0.000000 pitch_offset: 0.000000 roll_offset: 0.000000 camera_space_offset: (0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000) horizontal_fov_override: 90.000000 vertical_fov_override: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_x: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_y: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_width: 1.000000 frustum_subrect_height: 1.000000 render_interior: true render_exterior: true}monitor_config : _nameless.04FB.9EE0 { name: right normalized_x: 0.666667 normalized_y: 0.000000 normalized_width: 0.333333 normalized_height: 1.000000 horizontal_fov_relative_offset: -1.000000 vertical_fov_relative_offset: 0.000000 heading_offset: 10.000000 pitch_offset: 0.000000 roll_offset: 0.000000 camera_space_offset: (0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000) horizontal_fov_override: 90.000000 vertical_fov_override: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_x: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_y: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_width: 1.000000 frustum_subrect_height: 1.000000 render_interior: true render_exterior: true}} or the following for right hand drive (uk): SiiNunit{multimon_config : _nameless.0599.E428 { normalized_ui_x: 0.333333 normalized_ui_width: 0.333333 monitors: 2 monitors[0]: _nameless.04FB.A768 monitors[1]: _nameless.04FB.9B98}monitor_config : _nameless.04FB.A768 { name: center normalized_x: 0.333333 normalized_y: 0.000000 normalized_width: 0.333333 normalized_height: 1.000000 horizontal_fov_relative_offset: 0.000000 vertical_fov_relative_offset: 0.000000 heading_offset: 0.000000 pitch_offset: 0.000000 roll_offset: 0.000000 camera_space_offset: (0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000) horizontal_fov_override: 90.000000 vertical_fov_override: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_x: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_y: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_width: 1.000000 frustum_subrect_height: 1.000000 render_interior: true render_exterior: true}monitor_config : _nameless.04FB.9B98 { name: left normalized_x: 0.000000 normalized_y: 0.000000 normalized_width: 0.333333 normalized_height: 1.000000 horizontal_fov_relative_offset: 1.000000 vertical_fov_relative_offset: 0.000000 heading_offset: -10.000000 pitch_offset: 0.000000 roll_offset: 0.000000 camera_space_offset: (-0.100000, -0.080000, 0.000000) horizontal_fov_override: 70.000000 vertical_fov_override: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_x: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_y: 0.000000 frustum_subrect_width: 1.000000 frustum_subrect_height: 1.000000 render_interior: true render_exterior: true}} This is config based off my own tripple monitor setup using the new mode 4 and is untested, let me know if it works Ps. Don't use bezel correction in the driver, use the various settings available via the multimon command in-game to adjust the position of the camera to correct for the bezel Pps. You can virtualize as many screens as you want and it has automatical setting on first launch, though you probably need tweak for resolution. Example 2700x1024 made with 2 poor 1280x1024/1440x900 screens https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8zCROvPkfLcbWZURm12c0t1dm8/view?usp=sharing I adjusted cap to be somewhere between wheel and front mirror so it does not bother instead it is great for using left/right mirrors at same time if I move camera a bit to right.
