Getting jobs for the event

hi everybody ,

 

with the event going on i need to deliver cargo from switserland to 10 different countrys , now either external or normall cargo i cant get more countrys then Italy , France and germany (got like 1 austria) every other country refuses to be put on my job list , how did you guys manage to get all countrys? do you use a program that you can pick what begin country and end country you have ?

If you're doing this event in 1.49(I wonder how's that even possible), your best bet is to use Geneva's SellPlan company as source/destination. If you had visited a lot of cities in the whole map outside of Switzerland beforehand, you should be able to hop around each city to look for any job to Geneva's SellPlan. Also, you might get some jobs from SellPlan in Geneva to any country, which wasn't delivered to for the event yet. You can use Steam Overlay's notepad feature to keep track the countries, to which you have delivered to/from, excluding Switzerland. With enough patience it should be possible to finish the event. Since the UI element doesn't show up, you'll have to keep the browser open on your World of Trucks page. That page will have to be refreshed after completing delivery to see if that counted.

 

If you're doing it in 1.50, you'll be able to use any company from any Swiss city as source/destination. Be sure to visit it first to be able to quick travel to it. If none can be found in Switzerland, you could also hop around each visited city outside of Switzerland to look for external jobs. Again, you can use Steam Overlay's notepad feature to keep track the countries, to which you have delivered to/from, excluding Switzerland. In such case, you will get UI element showing your personal progress, which updates after each delivery.

• set "preferred job length" to maximum in the game options
• max out "long distance" skill to be allowed driving unlimited distances
• only external contracts or external market count, you can't use any third party software to create jobs, freight jobs, freight market or quick jobs are not logged to World of Trucks
• ditch your own trailer, you'll get far wider selection from external contracts
• sometimes refreshing the job list a couple times may cause a new job to appear, but also disappear, if in doubt, pick the job, you can abandon it without any penalty
• Switzerland only neibourghs 4 countries (in reality 5, but Liechtenstein was omitted), there are 12 countries in the base game, including Switzerland, so you will need to go to each but one of them: Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, United Kingdom
• map expansions greatly expand your options, Going East in conjunction with West Balkans in particular, as those are 9 countries relatively closer than any other map expansion
• some luck is involved, try teleporting/fast travelling to the next country on the list or take job to the next country that you haven't been yet, then make trip back to Switzerland from there, as both direction in or out count

I don't think that's possible, World of Trucks has always been rendered incompatible with outdated game versions.

I've never seen outdated version to work with WoT before (showing only empty list), though  I've heard of this anomaly, and have also heard of problems it causes (claiming you are using modded truck and/or traler).

I'm sure it isn't supposed to be working, just look at the single job in the city, where you should see at least 5 or 6 pages, certainly isn't fully supported and you will have really hard time, since Switzerland is completely changed, there are new companies not even present in previous version in its cities and their coordinates changes, so you will probably desync from WoT anyway.

Good evening, in version 1.49 it is not possible to carry out the work, in the terms themselves they request that it be in the updated version, so you need to be in version 1.50.

With regard to the jobs, when I started doing them I just selected them by mileage, and then I picked the loads up to 200km.

but I'm waiting for the mp update to finish the jobs!
