Write or choose multiple rule violations during a report

Recommended Posts

Hello!

What do you think if on a player's report page on the website, you could write the rule violation or choose more than one rule violated?

Sometimes there are players who for example make a dangerous overtaking and then also make collision with other players and here the rules violated are two: Inappropriate Overtaking and collision.

But... Now in the space for the reason, you can decide to report the player only for a violation. It would be nice to add more spaces or be able to write it directly for more violations (not in the comments of reports).

Thanks for your answers.

Kind Regards,

Hello there @ROMANISTA [ITA]

First of all, thank you for creating this topic in order to receive more answers and different opinions about that idea.

- In my opinion it's quite useless since after reviewing reports by GM's they sometimes have change a reasons for the suspects that are reported. You are allowed to write all reasons, which can be seen in the video record in comment section. Therefore, I woudn't make any changes with report system in close future.

an example of editted reasons can be seen here:

Noting the different violations you believe the user may have made does not really matter too much here.

The most important thing that we need to know is more so whether it is a driving based violation or a chat/cb violation (And please choose the correct language for these where possible!)

No matter which reason you choose, the outcome will be the same as we'll determine which rule violations have taken place and add them regardless of the selected one.

Hello @ROMANISTA [ITA],

Thank you for your suggestion!

It's essential for our team handling reports to accurately identify the nature of the violation, whether it's related to driving, hacking, inappropriate language in chat/cb, or another violation. This distinction helps us address the issue appropriately. However, it's worth noting that regardless of the report reason chosen, it doesn't impact the outcome of the punishment.

Our report handlers have the responsibility to evaluate each case thoroughly and determine which specific rules were violated. They have the flexibility to apply appropriate punishments based on their assessment, which may include various rule violations beyond the initially chosen reason. If you wish to share multiple rule violations or explain the reason behind the report, you have the ability to do so via the explanation part.

Sincerely,

Leon Baker
