Heyo,

 

So I'm sure there is a valid reason as to why this hasn't been a thing yet, but I think a neat feature would be to have the weather be the same for everyone. I know some people prefer to turn off rain completely, but I think perhaps an option in the TruckersMP launcher to make it so you prefer localised weather or global weather could be a cool feature.

It seems to me that it is not necessary, but this is just my opinion.

I think, its just for feeling and more realistics maybe? When you play with friends, you can talk about your weather in MP since there are only two options of weather its quite unnecessary.

This can make our game interesting, but it also reduces the frame count of the game,
So, as everyone said, it's not necessary.

I feel like this would only make sense if it wasn't togglable. Because if its an option to players to use this then it would just be almost the same as if the feature didn't exist...

Many wish it and I am also a fan of it, as it gives TruckersMP another positive step towards realism. 

 

If you look at the post, something like this has been suggested in the past and Smoky has already put it on //accepted. I think this is on the development list and will be worked on in the near future. So we can certainly look forward to that

I support the idea of synchronized global weather, as it increases realism.

The downside, however, might be that players with low-performance computers can experience a disadvantage like lag in certain weather situations.

I'm also in favour of synchronising the weather.
Another reason why yes is that then the cars have the same physics and thus less collisions will occur.

I like the idea, however it would become an issue if someone likes to drive in the rain all the time and others prefer no rain at all. I feel like there would also be issues with media teams at convoys and events trying to take pictures.

If it is on, you pay 2 times more attention. If it is on, but you don't like rain => go play in Arkade server.

I see only positives from this suggestion. Yes, make it work as in Convoy mode.
