DJenerate Posted February 22, 2023 Report Posted February 22, 2023 Suggestion Name: Add the ability to use /fix when driving the Bolloré Bluebus Suggestion Description: Update the /fix command, that currently only works when driving a truck with a trailer attached, so that it also works to repair the Bolloré Bluebus. Why should it be added?: Currently, it only works when you're in a truck with a trailer. It would be a great quality of life improvement to also be able to use it for driving a bus, rather than having to drive to a garage or teleport using the F7 menu, which can cause issues when also using DBus World. 4 TruckersMP Media Team I survived Europoort and all I got was this crappy signature.
Niuro Posted March 13, 2023 Report Posted March 13, 2023 Become a better driver then. I don't have your problem.
Guest Nebula Logistics//MRV-md Posted March 19, 2023 Report Posted March 19, 2023 People could abuse this and cause accidents. Despite the bus not being as fast as the other vehicles, it can still be used to troll and cause crashes

Which kind of issues are you referring to in particular?

If we follow the logic that /fix can be abused, then it has to be completely removed as a feature because you can use it once every 10 minutes and crash into players with a truck that has a trailer. I have never seen anyone abusing the /fix command so far, primarily because of the cooldown that takes away the wish to do so. 1

Хидара Posted March 20, 2023 Report Posted March 20, 2023 good idea. You can also add for other transports from mods Hidara Veteran Driver VIII | Member since: 31 Dec 2015 23:30 UTC TruckersMP ID: 751173 Languages: Russian, English, Japanese.

You can be the best driver in the world, you're still going to have accidents as you can't control other people. You can easily troll and cause crashes in a truck with a trailer, and you can still do /fix. TruckersMP Media Team I survived Europoort and all I got was this crappy signature.
Guest Nebula Logistics//MRV-md Posted March 22, 2023 Report Posted March 22, 2023 You're right, forgot about the cooldown. In that case it does make sense to give the bus a /fix. Just thinking programming wise how that'll work, using tags or whatnot. Because players could find a way to save edit and make their scouts "buses" by changing the files. I don't have enough knowledge in code to say for sure, but playing devil's advocate here, we don't want people breaking it and using /fix on scouts

The fact that the command can be used on vehicles other than trucks with trailers will not have a negative effect. 1
