fikrikawakibi
Hi, I live in a country in the Far East, and I already have the fastest ISP in the country. But I still always got kicked due to too high average ping I suppose perhaps this is because the server is far away in the Europe. In this case, do you think using VPN may help? If so, is there a free way to use VPN for TMP? A guide, reference, or documentation would much helpful and appreciated!
Cary_TMP
TruckersMP can be launched using a VPN, but the VPN may be unstable TruckersMP Rules | Reports | Support | Feedback | Appeal Ban Mileage Riot :Cary
Foobrother
I would say yes but you might have latency issues. Also, if your connection from your place to the VPN server is as bad or not much better than your place to the TMP server, than it won't help. If the VPN provider does have a good far east server which is pretty responsive with your current location, then it might indeed improve things. However you might still have unstable performance. What's your ISP speed?
Flaming.
You can always try to use a VPN, but it's not guaranteed to work. There isn't really a guide for this, all you do is enable the VPN and then launch the game like normal. If a VPN doesn't work I would recommend using one of our other servers that is closer to you. So if you find a decent VPN server near you in far east you should get decent latency I think.
MOCKlNGBlRD
You can connect all of servers with a VPN program. Some of programs can not provide a good internet connection.

That's probably because you are far from the TMP server and/or because the connectivity/routing, from your ISP in Nigeria to the datacentre where the TMP server is located, isn't very good. 1
