Brakes Posted December 27, 2021 Report Posted December 27, 2021 Me personally, I would recommend both because their both just so good, although ATS has decreased in activity it still receives lots of acknowledgements. Have a good New Years!!!, Enjoy these last bits of 2020!!
[TPH] Nicz Posted December 27, 2021 Report Posted December 27, 2021 Both recommended but mostly of the players came from ETS2.
GamingWithWildcats Posted December 28, 2021 Report Posted December 28, 2021 I would recommend both games.
flotus Posted December 28, 2021 Report Posted December 28, 2021 I've read from a lot of people that American Truck Simulator has really great graphics and is really realistic, but I cannot vouch on behalf of those people. I, for one, have purchased American Truck Simulator but never had an interest in it — 10 minutes in and I was done. Euro Truck Simulator on the other hand has a lot of players, and I like the trucks more. Calais to Duisburg is my favourite route, but would never recommend it to someone new. ETS gets so much better when you get the DLCs and looks so beautiful. DLCs are often cheap when the sales are on, so wait until then if you're interested. Happy trucking!
DrewK Posted December 28, 2021 Report Posted December 28, 2021 Personally, I would recommend ETS. There are countless mods and the map is simply more beautiful. I tried ATS for the first time yesterday and had less fun compared to ETS. 5 hours ago, flotus said: I've read from a lot of people that American Truck Simulator has really great graphics and is really realistic, but I cannot vouch on behalf of those people. I can agree with the graphics. I don't think they look that realistic. The trucks look like toys and there are not much things you can change on them.

Interstate Nomad Posted December 28, 2021 Report Posted December 28, 2021 The number of players isn't a feature of the simulator, but rather the result of a preference in TruckersMP. It therefore can't be used to recommended a simulator without having multiplayer in mind.
n0feaR. Posted December 28, 2021 Report Posted December 28, 2021 I will recommend both games just because every game has their positives and negatives.
