  1. Suggestion Name: Recognize this pattern in BAN Suggestion Description: I've noticed a pattern in TruckersMP where Player 1 makes a small mistake, something that’s either kickable or not even punishable according to TMP rules and then Player 2 is involved. As a result, Player 2 gets affected (usually did a collision), and Player 1 ends up receiving a ban, even though the initial mistake was minor. However, in many of these cases, Player 2 had a clear opportunity to avoid the incident, meaning no one would have been punished or received damage. Yet Player 2 chose not to avoid it, either intentionally or due to lack of skill and because of that, Player 1 gets banned, even though the outcome could’ve been avoided entirely. One Specific Example: I have given a one specific example there, but there are many of them could be found. in the example video around the timestamp: 4:00 You can see that the red truck collided with the white (with purple) truck while turning. The moderator banned the red truck, stating he was supposed to give way. BUT the red truck had already started the turning maneuver, and at that moment, the white truck had enough space and time to brake or stop. The red truck likely assumed it was safe to turn and used both lanes accordingly. However, the white truck didn’t stop, either on purpose or due to lack of skill and collided with the red truck. The red truck got banned, while it seems the white truck wasn't punished at all. Had the white truck stopped, the red truck probably wouldn’t have received a ban. The white truck driver appeared to keep going under the logic of, “It’s my lane,” even though it was clearly visible a collision was about to happen. The red truck had already committed to the turn, and instead of avoiding the collision, Player 2 kept moving, worsening the situation. in these types of incidents, the red truck should give way, yes, but the white truck also had the responsibility to stop, especially knowing that a collision was likely. He saw the red truck was turning and knew a collision would happen, yet did nothing. And the red ended up banned. In situations like this, I think both drivers should be kicked. Example video: Why it should be added: This is a specific case type where Player 1 makes a very small, often kickable mistake, and Player 2 has a clear chance to prevent the incident but fails to do so, either by choice or by poor judgment. As a result, Player 1 ends up getting banned only because Player 2 decided not to avoid the situation even though he could technically. This creates a paradox where the punishment for Player 1 depends more on Player 2’s inaction than on the severity of the original mistake. In such cases, both players should receive a kick, or the context should be considered more carefully during moderation. Note that this applies only when Player 2 could have technically avoided the situation. At first glance, this may seem like a rare or minor issue, but it represents a blind spot in moderation. If TMP can recognize these patterns, bans can be applied more fairly, especially in incidents where responsibility is shared. It might not be easy to grasp at first, but you have to think it through to see the full picture. edit: Assumptions to be made: Regarding the provided example - it’s the only one I could find and refer to without violating any TMP rules. I’ve kept it simple and added the following assumptions for clarity: 1. Assume that Player 2 (white truck) could have technically stopped. 2. Player 2 did not attempt to brake and continued moving, either intentionally or due to poor judgment. 3. Player 2 was farther behind than shown in the video when Player 1 began turning, meaning Player 2 had enough time to stop. When evaluating this suggestion, please base your reasoning on these assumptions rather than relying solely on what is shown in the video, because the actual video example doesn't fall under this ban scenario, as Player 2 did try to stop but couldn’t fully manage it.
  3. Suggestion Name: Only Accept Reports from Affected Players Suggestion Description: At the moment, any player can file a report, even those not directly involved in the incident. This opens the door for players who are more focused on getting others banned than actually enjoying the multiplayer driving experience. Sometimes, incidents happen unintentionally, and the player directly affected accepts an apology and prefers to move on. Yet, unrelated bystanders still report it, which often results in unfair bans against players who did not act with malicious intent. This suggestion proposes that reports should only be accepted from players who are directly affected by the incident, both in-game and on the website. Who are Affected Players? Affected players are those who are directly impacted by the incident. for example: The person involved in a collision Someone whose vehicle was blocked and forced to stop for more than ~30 seconds Anyone whose driving experience was clearly disrupted as a result of the other player's action You can define the exact criteria, but the key idea is to limit reporting to those who were genuinely involved, not spectators. Example images: N/A Why it should be added: This change would help prevent unnecessary and unfair bans on players who made honest mistakes and were willing to apologize. Bans should target trolls and those who intentionally try to ruin others' gameplay, not those who accidentally cause minor issues.
  4. Suggestion Name: Proposal for "kick feels too lenient, but a ban feels too harsh" situation. Suggestion Description: Currently, there are situations where a kick feels too lenient but a ban feels too harsh. When a player makes a small mistake in this category and nowadays receives a short ban (like 3 days or 1 week), this ban still counts towards their active ban history. This causes problems because if a player already has 5 active bans, the next ban will automatically become 90 days, even if the mistake is minor. For example, if a player has 3 deserved bans for serious offenses (like colliding with oncoming traffic during overtaking) and 2 small mistakes (where a kick is too light but a ban feels too harsh), then: consider the below 2 situations, 1. If the player makes another small mistake, the ban will be 90 days instead of the intended 3 days or 1 week. 2. Even if the player makes a serious mistake deserving a ban, because of the past small mistakes, the ban will be extended to 90 days instead of 30 days. With this proposal, short bans for minor mistakes would not count towards the active ban history but would still enforce the ban duration. This means: For point 1, the player would only get the short ban (3 days or 1 week), not a 90-day ban. For point 2, the player’s serious bans would count properly, so a 4th serious ban would result in a 30-day ban instead of being pushed to 90 days due to minor infractions. Any example images: N/A Why it should be added: This change would make punishments fairer and more proportional. It prevents minor mistakes from unfairly increasing ban severity for future offenses. Moderators would have better flexibility to handle small rule breaks without pushing players into harsher long-term bans. This would reduce player frustration , improving the overall community experience. if you have better solution to this situation, please suggest that also. Final note: Don’t comment, like, just stick to the rules or staying unbanned is easy. edit: Note: For those blindly following rules without caring whether it's fair or not, if you want to discuss my ban here, especially when you have zero context regarding it. Sorry to tell you, you're about to violate rule §4.2.
  5. Suggestion Name: Prioritized Highlighting for 'Blocking' Reports in Admin View Suggestion Description: In the current in-game report system, all reports appear to be treated equally in the Admin View window, which is fair in most cases. However, certain types of rule violations, specifically blocking can have a more immediate and disruptive impact on gameplay. In-game Blocking reports should be highlighted or visually marked (e.g., different colour, icon, or urgency tag) in the Admin View so that Game Moderators can prioritize them. This is especially critical when a player is blocking high-traffic or strategic areas (e.g., road intersections, entrances, or delivery zones), making it impossible for other players to proceed. Since players cannot interact physically to move the blocker without violating the rules themselves, only in-game moderation can resolve the situation promptly. in the example image, the pink highlight (my suggestion) shows a report flagged for 'blocking'. The yellow indicates the currently selected report. Since moderators can only see the 'reason' after clicking a report, visually highlighting reports with critical reasons like 'blocking' is crucial to ensure they are reviewed and handled promptly." Example Image: Why it should be added: Unlike reports of reckless driving or collisions, which can be reviewed and punished later through the website report system, blocking requires real-time intervention to keep traffic flowing and prevent frustration for other players. Prioritizing blocking reports in the Admin View would help moderators act quickly, improving the overall gameplay experience and minimizing disruptions. Just like in emergency services, not all calls are treated with the same urgency, blocking reports should be the “high-priority” alerts of TruckersMP moderation. I'm not a Game Moderator, just a regular player, so if there’s a better way to help moderators kick or ban a blocking user faster, I’m all for it.
  6. Suggestion Name: Event Bail Pass: Temporary Access for Banned Players Suggestion Description: Introduce a "bail system" that allows banned players temporarily to request a one-day access pass specifically to participate in official TruckersMP special events (e.g., Easter Egg Hunt, TMP11 Festival). This would apply regardless of whether the ban is short (like 3 days) or long due to past history, as long as the player has not committed a serious offense (e.g., hacking or repeated intentional trolling). The system could be implemented similarly to an appeal to get one-day access or other ways. Any rule violation during this temporary unban would result in a longer ban (e.g., doubling the ban duration or adding additional days). Any example images: Imagine a banned player playing in TruckersMP own event for a day. Why it should be added: TruckersMP special events are rare and highly anticipated. Missing one due to a minor or unintentional ban can be disappointing for regular, engaged players. This system provides a second chance while still holding players accountable. It encourages good behavior while preserving the importance of bans. It also promotes fairness and community inclusion, especially for players who genuinely want to participate in community events and are willing to follow the rules. Similar to how real-life bail can grant temporary freedom for a specific purpose, this system would offer a one-day opportunity for banned players to join a TruckersMP special event, without lifting the full ban.
  7. Suggestion Name: Ban Removal Upon Forgiveness for Collision Incident. Suggestion Description: In real life, especially in many legal systems, victims of minor offences (like accidental damage or minor injuries) can choose to withdraw their complaint, particularly if they believe the act was unintentional and they’ve resolved the matter. This ensures that only serious or intentional offences are prosecuted, while accidental ones, where the victim is satisfied, do not result in punishment. Inspired by this idea, I suggest that TruckersMP implement a similar approach for accidental in-game collisions, where the affected player can forgive the incident, and based on that, the ban may be withdrawn or not enforced, if the incident is genuinely not malicious. This would help ensure the system focuses on punishing trolls, while forgiving honest mistakes between players who respect each other and want to continue enjoying the game. Why it should be added: Improves player experience: Players are more likely to feel respected and treated fairly when innocent accidents aren’t treated the same as intentional trolling. Real-world analogy: Just like real police complaints can be withdrawn when the victim agrees it was a mistake or has forgiven the other party, TruckersMP can mirror this logic for minor, in-game offences. Any example images: Imagine if you can. Implementation Ideas: Add a "Forgiveness Section" in the Appeal System: When a player appeals a ban (especially for collisions), the appeal form should allow the banned player to tag or refer to one or more affected users involved in the incident. The system can then send a notification or request to each affected player, asking if they want to confirm forgiveness or support the appeal. If all directly affected users clearly state the incident was accidental and they forgive the player, the moderator can take this into account and consider lifting the ban. Ignore Reports from Unaffected Third-Parties: To prevent over moderation and unnecessary bans, only accept collision-related reports from players who were directly involved or affected by the incident. Spectators or uninvolved players should not be able to trigger bans for events they were not part of. While such reports may not be false, they can lead to disproportionate action in situations where the actual victim may have forgiven the player or didn’t feel a ban was necessary. This change would help ensure moderation is more focused, fair, and based on the perspectives of those truly impacted. Moderator Discretion is Final: Even if forgiveness is granted, moderators should still have the final say, especially in edge cases where forgiveness might be used to bypass the rules.

    Ban Appeal Time

I just want to ask a question. When are the estimated dates for ban objections? Does it have a certain time or is it checked when it is seen?
  12. Hello everyone, As you know, the players had the right to appeals 3 times, but this was reduced to 2 times. While we could appeal 3 times, we can now appeal 2 times. However, admins have 72 hours to respond to our appeals. What if the response time of admins is reduced? What do you think would happen if something like this happened? I think admins response time should be reduced to 48 hours. Regards
Zaten yeni sistemde max. Ban 3 ay (hile ve ban evading harici). Ne yapmam gerekiyor bilgilendirebilirseniz sevinirim, teşekkürler.
  14. I saw one person continuously ramming into other players and I have 5 video proof (yes, you heard right) of that. Should I add all evidences or one is enough?
  15. Suggestion Name: Arcade Server Exception for Banned Players Suggestion Description: Allow players who are banned from simulation servers for reckless driving to continue playing on the Arcade server. This would provide a space where they can enjoy the game without impacting others' experiences on the more regulated simulation servers. It also offers an opportunity for banned players to reflect on their actions and improve their behavior in a less restrictive environment. So, the punishment shall remain for §2.1 - Hacking/Bug/Feature abusing and §1.5 - Inappropriate use of language because they harm the whole server environment. Any example images: No Why should it be added?: This suggestion would enhance the overall experience for both banned players and the community. Here are some benefits: Continued Enjoyment: Banned players (restricted selection of players within) can still enjoy the game they love while reflecting on their actions. Positive Reinforcement: Playing on the Arcade server can help players improve their driving behavior before returning to simulation servers. Community Support: It promotes a supportive community by giving players a second chance in a less restrictive environment. Stress Relief: Video games should be a source of relaxation and stress relief. Allowing access to the Arcade server aligns with this goal, even for those who have made mistakes. Implementing this change fosters a community of understanding and growth, encouraging better behavior while maintaining the integrity of the simulation servers. Let's give players the opportunity to learn and improve while still enjoying the game!
  16. If the perma ban is amnestied in the future, can I log in again with the deleted account? I didn't use ban evading and hack. My 5 year old account was banned due to a small mistake:(
  18. Permanent bans due to history have been discontinued as of May 4th, 2022 (before this date, the 6th ban automatically became permanent). Yet my account is still permanently banned due to history, even though this rule does not exist anymore. To my knowledge, after this date, the permabans were removed from all accounts that were permanently banned due to history. However, this never happened for my account for some reason. It has been several years since I played on TruckersMP, and I have grown up from my, let's just say, more "reckless" times. If possible, I would like to receive a second chance to play on TruckersMP again. I have contacted the Game Moderation Management catagory in the feedback section, but I am not getting any response from them after 4 days. What should I do? Am I contacting the wrong people? Any help is appriciated. - Tompie01
  19. Suggestion name: Event server rights | Ban/Kick/Tpr rights for players Suggestion Description: Hello dear trucking community! I thought of sharing my suggestion and idea with you. Every VTC leader has the possibility to get an event server as soon as the requirements fit. How about giving certain people of choice kick/TPR/ban rights to the server? That is, as soon as a player does not follow the rules, he will be kicked or banned. Note that the player is only banned for the event server. Any example pictures: / Why should it be added? Convoys are always in the evening, there is also a lot of activity on simulation 1 or other servers. This would allow the game moderator team to concentrate on the most important things in the evening. Kind Regards, CorniTv0100 | Dream Logistics
  20. what if i got banned and appealed 2 times??
  21. Hi! I have a very serious doubt that it would be in the case of bans, but in a certain unfair way, in the case, it would be that I was in Brussels, in the game, when I left the workshop for the transinet, but there was no one, I saw in the tab that everyone were 0.0m away, I asked myself, Wow. When suddenly a truck appears in front of me, causing me and the other truck to fly, I don't know if that causes a ban, but if it is a ban, it would be kind of unfair, because my game didn't load properly, missing the players, and when it did, boom , accident, I can't illustrate it, because I was recording at the time, but in short: I entered the game, I was going to the company, I hadn't loaded the players, then when it loaded, there was one in front of me, causing an accident, where I and the other player to fly. Would this cause a ban? Kind of like the truck stayed inside mine when all the players loaded and and he and I fly Would this cause a ban?
  22. He was blocking the entire lane, we waited for 1 minute for him to leave, when the truck in front of me decided to leave, I tried to leave, on the right side (Coasting) But another truck was coming, I decided to pass on the left, which is normal, except that When I passed him, another truck was coming. In the blind spot, He almost caused an accident to happen, will I be banned? Link: https://youtu.be/-hezvFIw2MQ
  23. According to Rule 2.8 Bans for 5 days will be for 90 days, I was watching a video, where a player had 5 bans on his account, Now he has 0, I tried to read the article but I didn't understand. Can someone help me

    No Evidence at Ban Reason

https://youtu.be/huvZrMY6Zbg The ban reason is §2.5 Reckless driving, but I don't see any evidence!I always follow the rules! Why ban me? I didn't see any reckless driving behavior!
  25. Hello, I got permanently banned with my friend just because i got banned for fourteen days and he was playing on the same PC! Also I would say that the rule &1.2 is illegal and nonsensical, because it’s completely arbitrary… You simply can’t really judge if someone is ban evading or someone else is just playing on the same PC… I thing this could be sued by a lawyer in the case… So of course I ask to be my account unbanned and in this case, I would also be happy if my friend gets unbanned from the permanent as well. This PC can be used by anyone that just wants to play ETS2 and here we go back to what I already stated before. So of course i already appealed the ban and wrote to the support, but the replies was always the same useless. So of course my question is: if the two accounts doesn't get unbanned, how the other users can safely continue to play without also getting permanently banned?
