  1. This would cause too much chaos, especially on CD road. It would be interesting to have Real Operations type events with police cars/fire trucks responding to places, but these would have to be staff members and I feel like there is too much that could go wrong on regular simulation servers.
  2. I enjoyed this road. We could have something like Simulation 1 is the classic CD road and Simulation 2 is the new CD road. It would go well with Sim 2 having a higher speed limit imo
  3. This is not a good idea. For example, on the Simulation servers my ping ranges from 90 to 120. What you are suggesting is only people in central Europe can play on the Simulation servers. That is a horrible idea and will tank our player count. We already have an auto kick for when peoples latencies are too high, there is no need to lower it.
  4. There will be possible licensing issues with this. I'm not too familiar with the area, but in the UK radio stations need a license to broadcast music. I would imagine we would need licenses to support this, which aren't cheap.
  5. I can't get into specifics, but due to internal rules, the queue counter would not be entirely accurate.
  6. Since your ban history is private I can not discuss specifics related to your account. However, permanent bans are only issued for Hacking, bans extended by Game Moderation Management, and when you Ban Evade a permanent ban.
  7. We have 5 million accounts. How are we going to test 5 million players?
  8. It's okay, reading graphs is hard. I've posted it down below again. As you can see, 59% of people in ETS wanted a limit between 140-150, and 62% of people in ATS wanted a limit between 140-150. Only 21% of the ETS community and 22% of the ATS community wanted the current speed limit or lower. I hope this clarifies your confusion!
  9. Sorry, it was 50% of the players that wanted the new server configuration. Still, my point stands.
  10. This honestly surprised me. I feel like it is because most people don't read the forum and information on our website, even though it is on our launcher. Based on the result from the polls, I expected at least 50% of players to be on Simulation 2.
  11. That actually makes sense. 2/3rd of the community wants this new server, so why would we keep the same capacity when only 2/3rds of the community wants it? Besides, I'm fairly sure it was stated somewhere the server capacity will change based on demand.
  12. The traffic lights in game are based on how they operate in that specific country. I feel we should leave it that way.
  13. This is part of the reason why Sim 1 and Sim 2 have different server configurations. If you don't like the changes, I would recommend playing on the server with the lower speed limiter.
  14. There initially was no ban on double trailers in Kirkenes, and it resulted in players getting stuck. Even skilled players still have issued with doubles in Kirkenes.
  15. Complaints are handled by the managers of the department that the staff member is in, so it wouldn't make sense for the managers of every team to see everyone's complaints. I feel it is common sense to use the feedback system for the department the staff member is in. If anything, a banner could be added giving more information about the feedback system.
  16. I don't see this as necessary. Requiring 24 hours before you can play TruckersMP is too much in my opinion. Let's say a player sees TruckersMP on Youtube, they are a casual gamer and only play a couple hours a week. We should not make this person play ETS2 for 12 weeks before they can join our servers.
  17. License plates are not required. When save editing, make sure you are paying attention to our save editing rules.
  18. Even if select road rules aren't enforced, hacking, chat/cb abuse, save editing, etc would still need to be moderated.
  19. Hey there, this is most likely happening due to your DLCs not being synced with TruckersMP. To fix this, do the following: 1. Go to your TruckersMP Settings - https://truckersmp.com/profile/settings 2. Click Linked Games / DLC 3. Click Check DLC If the sync fails, make sure your Steam profile is public.
  20. I always use Windows to code. I was considering getting a Macbook, but at the college I attend some upper level classes require Windows 10/11, so I bought a Windows laptop so I didn't need to use Boot Camp.
  21. Hey there. As stated in the rule update, when a player evades a temporarily ban, it will be changed to 90 days long. When a player evades a permanent ban, all new accounts will be permanently banned. This applies to all accounts, regardless of when the ban was issued. This change has already been implemented. If you feel a mistake has been made and a player's ban wasn't updated when it should have been, tell them to create an appeal on our website.
  22. Hey there! I would like to start by saying that we try to look at all in-game reports, but that is not possible. Since February 20th (which is the last time the server restarted) there have been over 4000 in-game reports submitted on Simulation 1 alone. The server can store up to 100 reports at a time; I presume due to memory limits. Once it reaches 100 reports it deletes the oldest report and tells the reporter to submit a report on our website. We are not timing out the reports, it is done automatically. Due to the amount of reports submitted and the report capacity, it is not possible to review all in-game reports. When you submit a report on our website you need to upload evidence. That evidence needs to show their name and preferably their TruckersMP ID, so if you have evidence you have everything you need to report the player on our website. I hope this helps!
  23. I would imagine that there were different factors. We have internal training and guidelines that factor into our decisions. Without seeing both incidents I am unable to tell you why a kick or ban was issued.
  24. I wouldn't say that this is the beginning of the end. I'll fight to make sure it is still a simulation like game, but banning people 2-4 weeks for 1 incident may be a bit extreme. If anything, I feel the point of this survey is to make sure the players feel the same before any changes are made.
  25. 32 GB is overkill for ETS2. I have 16 GB of ram and have no issues playing ETS2, watching a twitch stream, and streaming to Discord at the same time. I agree that ram is the issue, but 16 gb should be sufficient.
