Could you clarify what you mean? Do you mean kicked for high ping and/or unreliable connection? That wouldn't have anything to do with save edits. I'm not sure how to prove there is no impact, you can't prove a negative. If you find other people's save edits impact your performance, feel free to submit a report.
-
Save edits that cause a negative impact on other players aren't allowed. I do agree that the save editing rules aren't strict enough, but save edits that are allowed within our rules don't impact other players.
-
It depends. If it is a steam workshop that effectively works as save editing by making small changes to an existing truck most likely not, you will need to look at our save editing rules. If you are asking about a truck that doesn't exist in game base, that wouldn't even work in TruckersMP. I can not give you a true answer without knowing more details.

Support for Adaptive cruise control and emergency Braking.
Flaming. replied to Little Meow's topic in Archive
I haven't tested adaptive cruise control and emergency braking, but I feel like there would be too many issues. For example, how would it react with NCZs? -
Would there be traffic if they removed the gas stations between d-c?
Flaming. replied to ADEM.KERİM's topic in Archive
I would rather see a gas station on both sides of the road so players don't need to turn left. Either removing the gas station or expanding them would reduce traffic. The main issue comes when players try to be nice and let people leave the gas station, all they are doing is making traffic worse. -
I feel like this suggestion should be directed at SCS more than TMP. We do some map edits, but they typically are to improve traffic flow and for custom events.

Which system of reporting players do you prefer more and why ?
Flaming. replied to [GTW] !!.AMIXSO.!!'s topic in Archive
The website report system is more reliable since all reports are guaranteed to be looked at. That is not possible for the in-game report system, as reports time out quickly. Even with 4 GMs handling reports at once, there are more reports sent in at a faster rate than what we can deal with.- 31 replies

It was probably to attempt to combat trolls. The /fix command has been in the game before I have been in the team, so I don't know the reason behind that.
-
Stop spreading misinformation. I'm telling you, the rules allow me to punish players even if there is no collision. As for the video, you can use the feedback system if you disagree with the result. I am not allowed to comment if I agree with the punishment.
-
I recommend consulting our rules. Our rules state "Traffic lights and stop signs can be ignored if no other users are in the immediate area".
-
This has been suggested multiple times before. The reason /fix exists is so players don't get an engine malfunction and block the road. The damage to the trailer has nothing to do with the ability to drive, so it is unnecessary. By playing on a multiplayer network you run the risk of getting in collisions and your load being damaged. If you don't want to get your trailer damaged don't drive on CD, or just drive on singleplayer. Also, you claimed some people will use /fix because they play realistic and don't want to save edit. There is nothing realistic about using a command to magically fix your truck/trailer damage.

You can go on a red light if there is no one around. As a note, I still recommend stopping at lights in Calais and the surrounding areas regardless.
-
I'm confused on what you are suggesting. Are you suggesting we force people to a new road? We don't control where people go, they do that based on their free will.
-
I am a little wary about it and how it would react to other players. I feel like it may overreact and slam on the brakes when it is unnecessary. If this is the case, the GM team and managers will need to decide how to deal with these situations. It is definitely a positive for single player, but I'm not going to be using it on TMP until I know it causes no issues.
-
We already do, it is called joining the staff team. The entire staff team are volunteers from the community.
-
It's already the law that you can't stop in the middle of the intersection. Some players already don't respect the rules, so adding a box will change nothing.
-
This would require a serious time commitment, which is unrealistic for a group of volunteers.
-
As stated on our report system, the report load is currently very high. This means there will be a longer time before you hear a response.
-
This would cause too much chaos, especially on CD road. It would be interesting to have Real Operations type events with police cars/fire trucks responding to places, but these would have to be staff members and I feel like there is too much that could go wrong on regular simulation servers.
-
I enjoyed this road. We could have something like Simulation 1 is the classic CD road and Simulation 2 is the new CD road. It would go well with Sim 2 having a higher speed limit imo
-
This is not a good idea. For example, on the Simulation servers my ping ranges from 90 to 120. What you are suggesting is only people in central Europe can play on the Simulation servers. That is a horrible idea and will tank our player count. We already have an auto kick for when peoples latencies are too high, there is no need to lower it.

The other players will hear the other player's radio
Flaming. replied to XxQufDezxX's topic in Rejected
There will be possible licensing issues with this. I'm not too familiar with the area, but in the UK radio stations need a license to broadcast music. I would imagine we would need licenses to support this, which aren't cheap. -
I can't get into specifics, but due to internal rules, the queue counter would not be entirely accurate.

Since your ban history is private I can not discuss specifics related to your account. However, permanent bans are only issued for Hacking, bans extended by Game Moderation Management, and when you Ban Evade a permanent ban.
