Disappointingly awful.

Europe 2 is close to me, but as I've said, we've been seeing lots of server side latency. I checked the tab menu and it was everyone around ~200ms in ping with small spikes.
-
It can and will. I'm not suggest a 25 second timer, something like 5 seconds at the least. You can't do any damage then with a high ping, but it gives a chance for people for their ping to decrease, as it often does. We've been seeing alot of server side latency recently.
-
No, because the average can decrease over time. If you take one value for the average: 793 Then they will be instantly kicked, but if you wait for 3 values: 793 582 273 You can see that it's calming down and they won't be kicked. I also suggest that it only averages over a certain time period, not using values recorded over 30s ago because then a high ping player is less likely to be kicked - if not already. I've been kicked twice in a row instantly after connecting, yet my ping is generally fine. This will make it so that players like me don't have to keep trying.
-
Suggestion Name: Add minimum time before being kicked for ping Suggestion Description: Add a minimum time before the game kicks you for too high an average ping. 10 seconds should do it. This will eliminate users being kicked from the server immediately after connecting for having too high an average ping. Any example images: Why should it be added?: This will eliminate users being kicked from the server immediately after connecting for having too high an average ping.

Gentoo isn't an antivirus, it's a GNU/Linux operating system. Malwarebytes shouldn't be used as your only option. It's not good enough and isn't intended for standalone use. Use something like Avast and Malwarebytes in tandem.
-
Honestly if you don't have the common sense to deal with this scenario then how are you even on the computer right now? If you want true protection, install Gentoo.

What is the point of having a launcher if I have to download updates for that exactly like I did with the base game?
-
I'll make a mockup of what I expect it to look like, hold on. Edit: Here's what I whipped up in Excel. It's obviously not that good, but I want to highlight these important features: Game launching buttons are larger and in the bottom left; they are the main focus and need to be treated as such There's a settings option - let people choose launch commands in there, etc There's a slideshow Expansion is available, perhaps have integration with the forums - show notifications, we could also have a live service status functionality (which needs to load after the launcher itself - we don't want it to slow the launching of the launcher itself)
-
No it wouldn't. It's called a mod for a reason. There's probably an implementation that won't require modding the map. Perhaps just check if a player is speeding and have a tiny chance to give a ticket?

Suggestion Name: Launcher border Suggestion Description: Add a window border to the launcher Any example images: Why should it be added?: Because I need to be able to move it on my dual monitor setup, and [win]+[left arrow] isn't cutting it. There's also the fact it launched on my secondary monitor, not my primary one. Programs without a border look pretty bad and very unprofessional. There's also a problem that the launcher is poorly designed and that there's no need for the ETS2 and ATS buttons to be that far apart, and so small. They're the entire point of the launcher - make them big and the main focus. This launcher is almost entirely pointless because it is so poorly made; it slows the process of launching the game, contrary to it's purpose. And now we also can't pass commands to the game (e.g. skipping the intro vids).

This was previously suggested and rejected. Use the search function.

TMP can't make changes to the map. You'd have to download the entire map all over again, and you'd probably have to download it every update as well as have them update their version of it. And I doubt anyone on the TMP team has mapping skills required to do this.
-
Rain could easily work in MP - you have an option in the tab menu to stop MP for managing rain for you, and it'll rely on the game's probability slider and be clientside.
-
SCS have said before that they'd add all DLC content into the base game, but have DLC enable it for use. This means that even those who don't own it will still see it in MP. IIRC they said this a while ago so I don't think it's happening.
-
Nah. This'll ruin the game, and besides, we need trucks to collide with eachother, without that, you have unrealistic gameplay and players won't be banned at all. It's best if we catch them early and ban them. You paid for ETS2, not TMP.

Suggestion Name: Show players in Tab for 10 seconds after they disappearSuggestion Description: Right now, players can just ram into you and instantly F7 or quit and escape punishment. If they stay in your Tab menu for 10 seconds afterwards, you'd be able to catch their IDs and report them. I'd also suggest /pinfo retaining information on players for 1 minute after they leave quit and not letting that server slot be used, to make sure people can jot down their TMP ID if they do this and leave, and to stop cases of mistaken identity.Any example images: Nope. Why should it be added?: To deter and decrease the number of players ramming and getting away through F7 or quitting.

Read it again.

This is an excellent winter mod, perhaps we'll use it this year?

Economy Quick-Fix Button Add an button on the freight market to reset the economy. It should be added because normally you'd need to sleep or use g_force_economy_reset when the no-jobs bug shows up. The problem is, I don't know if this could be done.
