I have WoT contracts. But I haven't contracts for the event...

I think I meant for the event contracts, sorry. Nonetheless, you should opt out of all beta programs, because someone else had the same problem with the bar above not appearing, and doing that fixed the issue.

  2. @Skalkery (FR) Hello, I have experienced the same problem with the G29 a few times. Sometimes the problem is the gas that activate a little bit and "flicker", and sometimes it is the hard braking, which is very annoying (especially in convoy).

You don't have to change any settings or configurations, but you do need to open your pedals and clean it as best as you can. The thing you have to be careful is the small cables between the pedal sensors to the main cable. You have to look for any small junk, hair, etc, that could interfere with the sensor mechanism. Also be careful when you put your pedals back together, especially the cogs, they must be in the correct position (I did the mistake the first time.)

Is it possible to transfer trucks and trailers across the different profiles? For example i have one profile where i did setup the truck and trailers and i want to switch to another one where i have multiple mods. Point is i dont want to just duplicate profile because it will mess my mod order. So, first profile is truck and trailers with the mods set up, and the second one is one with all those mods + bunch of others maps and stuff. I can just duplicate profile and set up the mod order but this seems a lot faster way than doin it all again.

It's possible to transfer your truck from one profile to another, but you have to remember that you need to copy the right things to the right place. Might not be worth it going down that route. Like you have to copy the truck, its accessories, and then also declare that you do have the truck in your list of trucks, and also in which garage it's assigned to.

You can copy and paste the relevant parts of the save files to transfer a truck or trailer, the only catch is that the existing profile save might already have used some of the ID strings that the new save used for your new truck. Personally I find it less time consuming to build the same truck as close as possible in the "main" account and then paste the necessary alterations in the save file. Most of the work is already done and you're just altering already established ID strings.

Yeah but the chances that the address string being used is very slim. But having a custom address would get rid of that problem (but have fun renaming each one of them). Building the truck as close as possible is one way of doing it, and another possibility is to make a mod to add that truck in the dealership, but probably not worth it.

  4. There's always someone who's trying to push it a little too far.

Seriously, since the Special Transport DLC came out, it's been clear that it's not allowed on TruckersMP. That has never changed ever since and shouldn't. Why bother putting yourself at risk? It's not meant for MP...

  5. I cannot pin point the exact source of the problem, but I can suggest a few things to do.

Can you try to disable Steam Cloud, and any plugins, then see if the problem still persists?

Personally I don't see the plugin as an issue, but it's always worth a try to turn it off. As for the Steam cloud, it's giving loads of errors concerning auto save job.

Also, turn off any notifications from your anti virus or any software running in the background.

  6. Does it kick you because another player is logged in with your SteamID? It could be an issue with the server that kept your ID online, and you can only wait until the server restarts (no schedules unfortunately).

I've already done a personal investigation and it appears the player is indeed online on TMP and the ets2map, but going at the location the map provides, the player isn't found.

Optionally, you can change the password of your Steam and TruckersMP account, and enable 2FA for extra security.

  7. Does it only happen in TruckersMP? Is it only when taking a trailer? From what I can understand, the speed limiter in the game menu settings is enabled, but is it in a darker grey?

If you don't wish to take on an External Contract (World of Trucks), you can take Freight Market, Cargo Market (owned trailers only), or Quick Jobs. If the list is empty or nearly empty, you can sleep at any parking places or quick travel to another garage which will update the list.

  8. Can you provide the game log? It could possibly have clues of what is causing the game to tab out.

It could also be a background process that is stealing the focus of your screen. You can download a Windows focus logger to diagnostic which application may be the cause of the game tabbing out.

  9. Hello,

According to the video you provided, you have selected the installation directory of TruckersMP launcher into where ETS 2 is installed.

You will need to uninstall TruckersMP launcher and delete every TruckersMP files leftover. Then you go on Steam, right click ETS 2, properties, local files, then verify integrity of game files.

Then you can install TruckersMP launcher again, and make sure that you select where you want the launcher to be installed, then ETS 2 game folder. (I leave everything by default)

  10. Joining World of Truck is easy, you should register using your Steam account that you plan on using for playing on TruckersMP.

The advantage of it is that there's plenty of choices to chose to deliver when you're in a certain city. You might need to tell your friend to take the job at the same time since your friend might not see the exact same job if he looks after you took the load.

But with that, you'll be forced to have the truck speed limiter on during the contract, and if you F7, it will cancel the contract. That's the only downside of it.

  11. @cishore I don't think there's is an "easy" way to modify the file if you do it like in this tutorial. But I can give you tips on how to do what you aim for.

If you don't have many trucks, it should be easy to find the truck in question. Although, if you have a lot of trucks, you may want to make sure you're driving the truck you want to modify, for easier reference. Then you can search for "my_truck: " and there's only one occurrence conveniently. You'll need to search for that address until you'll see "vehicle : " followed by the address. Optionally, you can copy the address and paste it in a new notepad document.

Next part requires a little bit of search, since you'll want to scroll down and find the paint job of your DAF. You can look for clues, like if nearby parts has reference to "daf.xf", or search for the address of the paint job, which should bring you back to the list of accessories. Then you can look further above for the vehicle address and see if it matches the one pasted in the new notepad document.

For the actual paint job, it'll be a little bit tricky to have custom colors without the right tools, since you probably won't go too far with something that looks like this: "&3f7b74cd". That's the way SCS decided to save the color values. I'm going to guess the darker shade of gray on that paint job might be one of those mask color (I'm not sure why SCS made it _r, _g, and _b since they're just color 2, 3 and 4, while 1 is base color). When it's unused, you'll usually see something like (1, 0, 0), (0, 1, 0), or (0, 0, 1) with commas in between, but not always the case. Since you want the second color to be red (really simply color), I think the quickest way would be to put the first three mask colors as (1, 0, 0), so you'll be guaranteed to get the result you want. If you want a different shade of red, you might need to use a tool for that, there should be a link for it in the tutorial.

  12. Hello @Maix785,

For the issue with the time, I don't think you can do anything about it, since the time doesn't flow the same way on multiplayer. Unless you want to save edit the time it'll expire...

But when you get a game change detected, can you provide the game log? Make sure that you don't start the game again after encountering the game change, or else it will be overwritten.

It might be possible that when you go in single player, that there was caravan cargo in job list that it cannot load. I have put these two files in my mod folder and there is no more problem with Skoda and Caravans. First one has files for the Caravan (and escort van?), and second one has files for the actual Skoda. Asir already explained where to get it, but the "sh" Skoda is in Shared folder instead of ETS2, if you want to grab it too.

@LordBenji so if you edit it, you can deliver outside Scandinavië?

Yes you can, and I'm sure there's other odd things you can do with save editing. But I think most people will be looking for being able to F7 without going back to Gedser or having to use quick load.
