I just received the news from my boss that one of our clients cancelled their contract today and the owner destroyed my service. I don't understand why, though. I always thought I was doing a good job with them. I've got praise from a couple others and I don't recall doing anything differently with this one. Apparently other clients who left also had complaints about my service, though, but I've never been informed about that until now. My boss and I are going to talk about this situation later this afternoon. I fear I might lose my job today. It has been the best job I've had, so far.

Yeah. That is one of the reasons why I chose to apply for Support here on TMP and why I had no issues in doing that job.
I don't know, man. The company has lost a lot of money recently. A couple weeks ago our biggest client cancelled their contract though as far as I have been told, this one did not disclosure the reason why. Currently we only have four contracts left now that this one from today cancelled. With the one that cancelled the company already wasn't making much money. In 2015 we had to close down our office in downtown and more our operations to each one's homes to save money and keep the company from breaking down after our second biggest client had cancelled their contract because of the crisis, at the time. For a while I even worked only half-time for half the pay to keep my job. Now with only four left and complaints of poor service, I just don't know what will happen. Currently there is only me and my boss left on the company. His business partner, who was already not very involved with the support and administration part for a while and actually is currently running his own shop, now, is still in the company but only handling the webdesign side of the company.
Cars are expensive here and one with bluetooth would cost me far more than I make in a whole year. :\ And right now's definitely not the time for me to be spending money.
