  1. @grundi2601 Perhaps it has to do with your and your friend's resolution? If not, then perhaps it actually is the TruckersMP mod that shows different from your own screen and others.
  2. Sounds like an issue with the game itself, and not TruckersMP mod. However, I would guess the issue lays within your game settings. Perhaps it enlarges the font/text which results in certain letters not fitting on the plate. Maybe try fiddle with your Quality settings and see if it changes anything, preferably the texture settings. Hope that helps.
  3. I can't create a Feedback ticket because my last Feedback ticket was closed earlier today and you're forced to wait 3 days to create another one.

Is that really necessary? A 3 day waiting time?

I understand your point, but yes, to avoid spam.

That sucks. I will try if anyone wish to cooperate with me on Discord then, since it's back.

  4. So since Discord is down and I'm unable to create a Feedback ticket, where am I supposed to go from here?

      Hai,

Go to TruckersMP website, look in "Account" there is a "Feedback" option.

      Or check here: https://truckersmp.com/feedback/create

      ;)

I can't create Feedback tickets, because you have to wait for your current one to be closed and then 3 days after that.

As I see here, you will have to wait the remaining 3 days to write a new one, since the previous has been closed recently.

  5. It always amazes me seeing decorated/pimped Euro Truck Simulator 2-like trucks in real life.
  6. I believe it's allowed as it's an interest for TruckersMP to store your IP-adress to prevent permanently- and/or ban-avoiding users to access their service. It's necessary information to protect TruckersMP. As long as TruckersMP state within their ToS that their IP-adress, or just say data, are stored for such reasons.
  7. My data dumps are also empty. Just opens a new tab that shows "{ }". Tested on both Google Chrome and Firefox Quantum.
  8. Is your truck modded in any way? Save edited etc. If yes, try another truck that’s not modded. If no, try verify your game cache through steam. If you need further help, try connect to TruckersMP’s Discord and ask in the #support channel.
  9. Hello Description: Some sort of warning system as ”punishment”. Sometimes players are reported, on the website, for offences that could just be worth a kick or just not enough to be a ban. I reported a user who failed to pay attention to players in a roundabaout and drove out having me collide with him as I was coming around the roundabout. The admin who claimed the report denied it and deemed it to be just kick-worthy. The player in-game seemed to be completely unaware of what he had done. Why? I think this would be useful and perhaps also healthier for the community. With this players would be more aware of their mistakes and perhaps less would get banned for incidents that could be solved over a warning. With a warning system players will be aware of their mistakes and hopefully not repeat them. This would benefit everybody; players will be more educated how to properly drive in different situations and countries. Innocent players seen as troublemakers for mistakes/accidents will get a second chance. Players negatively affected will get some sort of relief knowing the player who caused them ”harm” in-game is aware of their mistake. Perhaps even Staff will learn new stuff too from unique situations. No images, but perhaps it would also notify a user in-game that they have a unread warning on the website in some way. EDIT: Just had another report denied because it was deemed only kick-worthy. This user failed to yield, slightly ramming me, blocking me and another player. He might've thought he had right-of-way when in reality he was in the wrong, now since my report got denied he might keep this thought and continue ignoring the give-way on that road. No information related to my report will be sent over to him, to either punish or explain his error. That is where my suggestion comes in.
  10. ^ As much as that may be true, having a toxic management is way worse in my opinion.
  11. That could happen without Ghost Mode anyway? A player can be parked after a hill/curve. But that is why you need to go a safe speed around corners and hills. This is not a racing game, this is a simulator. If Ghost Mode with seconds was working as intended there would be no issue loading a save in busy areas. But it does not work because, as seen in my video and said so many times, it takes you out of Ghost Mode before you even have a chance to avoid any incident. If Ghost Mode was ended after a certain amount of distance, that means a player would have had to been completely loaded in, they would have had to move from their spawn-point and most likely been out of any possible risks. I still do not see what you are trying to argue against Ghost Mode ending with a distance. If a troll is blocking the road, then they are at fault for blocking. I suggest you make use of your nearby-players-list (TAB) and the minimap to spot players before you can actually see them so that you are never at fault. Not being able to brake has nothing to do with Ghost Mode. A driver can be stopped on the road for several reasons, not just after spawning in. I get that you do not agree with my suggestion, but you are giving arguments that do not even relate to Ghost Mode. Like I said above, drivers being parked on the road has nothing to do with Ghost Mode. A driver can be stopped on the road for several reasons, like being in an incident prior to their stop or maybe even ran out of fuel. What you should argue is if my suggested Ghost Mode have any faults when spawning in, as of now I do not see any issues with it. You cannot say that a user will just spawn in and stay there, because eventually they will be kicked for AFK. Or if they do move just a tiny bit, they are griefing/trolling, which is a bannable offence.
  12. @megadethsteve666 If driver1 is swerving into driver2, then driver1 is punished for ramming. If driver1 is stopping and driver2 drives into them from behind, it is driver2's fault for not keeping distance or driving too fast for them to handle. If driver1 is continuously stopping(brake checking) they might be punished for trolling/griefing. What you talked about has nothing to do with my suggested Ghost Mode. As someone who would have just spawned in would be in Ghost Mode, if they were about to end their Ghost Mode they'd have had to be spawned and loaded in for a while which would mean that it would be the other trucker's fault for crashing into them. Unless the trucker who had spawned in intentionally rammed into them. But that is a completely different situation. Listen, with timed Ghost Mode, you can get out of Ghost Mode before you fully spawn in. If Ghost Mode is ended by distance, like I have suggested, you'd have to be fully loaded in, you would've had to driven about 100 yards, or whatever would be appropriate, before Ghost Mode ends. If driver1 is in a Ghost Mode, that ends after a certain amount of yards, and driver2 comes, then driver2 would either have to slow down and follow in driver1's speed. Or driver2 makes a safe overtake. If driver2 fails to do either of those they driver2 is at fault for driving recklessly. It is still not bannable to spawn in, anywhere, like I have said 3 times now. What you are describing is completely irrelevant to Ghost Mode. If someone is stopped on the road, ghostmode or not, and decides not to move, then they are blocking. Which is a completely different rule and situation. And even if someone happens to be stopped on the road and you crash into them, perhaps you shouldn't have driven so fast or too close that you were unable to stop. Drive a safe speed when around players, use TAB or your minimap to see when players are nearby. Keep a distance from players infront of you in case they have to abruptly brake. Your arguments are irrelevant and/or make no sense compared to my suggestion. Just listen, read carefully; With a Ghost Mode that ends after a certain amount of distance, the player would have had to be loaded in for a good amount of time before it ends. It would literally be the exact same thing as starting from the side of the road. If someone were to drive into them at that point, it would be completely their fault for driving too fast for them to brake or not paying attention of what is ahead of them. Obstacles on the road happens all the time, in real life too, and people who drive into them are either going too fast or not paying attention of what is in front of them. If the spawned in player then decides to swerve and ram or block another player, that is a entirely different situation and has nothing to do with Ghost Mode. My suggestion is a solution though and it doesn't result in banning players. Banning users for simply spawning into the game is toxic and very unhealthy for the community.
  13. But why add a rule that would punish users instead of implementing something that would simply prevent the entire issue? It's healthier for the community and playerbase if people were given features that safetly let them spawn where they want rather than banning users for just spawning in. New members may not be familiar with the Heavily trafficked areas in TruckersMP, Bergen - Oslo or Europoort - Rotterdam used to be very trafficked but now it's pretty normal and there are other areas that are the same.
  14. @megadethsteve666 If Ghost Mode ends with a certain distance what happens in my video can be prevented completely. With Ghost Mode as it is now, when you spawn in, even when you are in Ghost Mode players swerve around you. Players usually do not risk driving through you when you just spawned in, they either stop or drive around you. So using a distance to end Ghost Mode is still the safest option. And no, you cannot be banned for spawning in, it is not in the rules and non-existing rules cannot and should not be enforced. However excessively loading a save can get you punished, but me loading a save once is not punishable. And moving right as the Ghost Mode ends to have someone crash, I find very unlikely. In order for that to happen you’d need to drive just before the specific distance. That means you have driven on the road for a while, fully loaded in etc. if a player is to crash into them at that time it’d be their fault as they drove recklessly fast unable to stop or someone not keeping their distance. It can also be a case of blocking if they are stopped for too long. But nothing that’d be the Ghost Mode’s fault. @Ajith18592 I was just relying on Ghost Mode to work as intended to keep me and the players around me safe while spawning in. As you can see that did not work, if a distance was added to the Ghost Mode what happened in my video would be prevented completely. I also enjoy driving heavy cargo with trucks not really built for it as it makes it a bit of a challange.
  15. @megadethsteve666 Do you even know the reason for this thread? This thread’s purpose is to implament a safer Ghost Mode so that what happened in my video does not repeat. I don’t understand why you are here arguing, we both want the same thing. I used an Autosave and I am very certain that the majority of players do the same, but since there are some faults to loading a save, as seen in my video, I proposed a solution. What exactly are you contributing by saying I’m stupid and should be banned? @ShadowWolf2k7 Yeah, I know. I’ve tried to explain to him the reason I made this thread. Let me add that it’s not for comedic purposes. @Mr_Pingu I loaded a autosave after being crashed off the road.
  16. ^ If you re-watch my video, you can see I used an autosave which I have no control over. You can also tell that the Ghost Mode countdown begun while I was in the loading screen. And if you listen, you can hear when my engine starts and then I was left with 2-3 seconds to manouver my vehicle. If you are able to provide a video of you manouvering a truck with a 61 ton trailer to the shoulder of a road right before an intersection within 3 seconds then I’ll accept your accusation of me ”driving” reckless. Either way, spawning into the game is not against the rules, doesn’t matter where you spawn in, so don’t come here saying I should be banned for a month. And like I said, watch the video again, in the video I was barely given 2-3 seconds to manouver my vehicle. And calling me stupid won’t help either, whan I spawn in I expect Ghost Mode to keep me and other drivers around me safe. Which is the reason I even took my time uploading the video and creating this thread. You also claim distance cannot be measured, but the current timed ghost mode can? The current Ghost Mode begin while in the loading screen so you don’t really know when it started. While if distance was used instead that’d mean the player’s truck have to be in movement, which means you have to be fully loaded in. /EDIT: REMOVED UNNECESSARY QUOTATION. USE ^ or @<USER>. Which also means do not add the quote back and use the appropriate tools mentioned. Send me a PM if you need further justification. /EDIT2: Ah, noted. I'm just so used to simply quote the person I'd reply to. But I see your point, will keep that in mind.
  17. Sure, that is one way you can do it but it's not ideal. That is why I think changing the Ghost Mode with distance instead of seconds would be a good and ideal solution.
  18. It might be enough time if you load in completely flawless. But as of right now that is not possible in certain areas and because of some players' PC's. ^
  19. Well I would have assumed it would keep you in no-collision mode as long as you are inside someone else because that is what I have myself experienced in-game. But either way, then we are back to my original suggestion. I barely had a second to move out of my way. Most of my time was spent in the loading screen, then I spent my last few seconds igniting my engine. When you say I should've moved out of my way, you're expecting me to move a truck with the heaviest(non-modded) cargo completely off the road, away from any player, in the most busiest and laggiest intersection in the game with 3 seconds. I took the time from my video; 13 seconds was spent in the loading screen 9 seconds was spent igniting my engine with lag. 2-3 seconds is all I had left to move my truck. That does not seem reasonable to me. So, I'd like to suggest that instead of seconds, units are put in place. That way none of what happened in my video would ever happen again. This. Like I counted in my video and mentioned above. Time is different for everyone. It depends where you are located in the game, how quick your PC is to load and a few other factors. If time was taken out and movement taken in, which is only possible once fully loaded in, it would completely solve the issue. I usually try swerve off the road when I manually Quicksave. The save I used was an automatic save.
  20. The point of Ghost Mode is so that other players can go through you. If it was actually working, none of what happened in the video would have occured. If you actually watched my video you would see that I had less than a second to "move over". If you listen for when my engine ignite, I have less than a second to move. I loaded a quicksave after being rammed off the road. The issue is that the Ghost Mode does not work as intended. It is supposed to be active as long as you are inside another player, but evidentally that is false as you can see in my video. And if it instead use units the entire issue would be solved. I repeat, Ghost Mode's intent is to put you in a no-collision state until a certain amount of seconds have passed and until you are not clipping inside another player. As you can see in my video, that is not fully working. By changing the amount of seconds to units, it would completely solve the issue. That is of course unless someone with Ghost Mode active decides to drive into people, but that is another issue.
  21. ^ Yes... Which is why I have come here to bring up a solution to Ghost Mode. Obviously it is not working as intended. Its purpose is so that you do not crash into or spawn inside another player. I did not create this thread to post a funny video about me glitching out causing me to fly and land on a bunch of people. I posted this thread to have the issue resolved and not having people glitch out causing people to take damage... Okay, look, obviously it is not solved with the Ghost Mode we have currently. As you can see in my video, it is not working as intended. So, I propose a solution which would be to replace the seconds with units. It would completely solve the issue shown in my video. I don't understand why you guys are trying to argue against what both you and I want...
  22. ^ Instead of Ghost Mode ending after a certain amount of seconds, I think it would be better if it ended after you have driven a certain length. Because as you can see in the video I added, most of those seconds were counted while I was in loading screen. Ghost Mode was added just so you would not have to worry about trucks spawning right infront of you or inside of you. And it should be the same thing the other way around, you should not have to worrying about spawning where it would cause an accident. But it is not working properly because it is set to end in seconds instead of units. And by units I mean it ends while you have driven a certain amount of yards/meters. You say what I did was reckless, but if the feature worked as it should have, this would never have happened. Which is why I am suggesting it to be changed from seconds to units. Also you need to lighten up a bit, yes it was funny. It is a game.
  23. Ugh! So we have to drive in-game all the way to Prague, CZ to download the winter?! What a hassle!
  24. Oh, we're open for discussion now, neat. The reason for me to load a save there is because I was rammed off the road just before. I rather load a save instead of F7 + Enter because of the usual chaos at a Service Station and main cities. If the Ghost Mode was on after a set amount of units, this would not happen. Instead we would've just clip through each other and after the set amount of units I would become solid again. Instead now with set amount of seconds, I have no idea when I am getting out of Ghost Mode. Most of the time was spent loading into the game, I've even had some moments where my entire state in Ghost Mode was spent in the loading screen.
  25. At the moment, Ghost Mode puts you in no-collosion state for a certain amount of seconds. The base idea of Ghost Mode is great but I think it would be better if it stayed active for a certain amount of units instead of seconds. Why? Because with Ghost Mode that ends after a certain amount of units the Ghost Mode does not tick down while in a loading screen. You also get plenty of time to get to a safe place such as on the side of the road. While with seconds, you might not have enough time to get out of a player you may have spawned in and get out of them without causing any crashes. Like this for example, in my video I loaded a save. I spawn in and I don't move at all because I am inside another player and I can't really get anywhere except drive through everyone. But my set amount of seconds ended and my Ghost Mode was no longer active, so this happened; I did try suggest this a while back, but it was disregarded because some other guy had suggested a similar idea but with seconds. But I still believe using units would be better. I also made this which is hilarious. https://youtu.be/mdXMZNktd10
