Looking at that video, it was made before the launcher, If I remember correctly back then you were still given two installations (One for ETS and one for ATS) hence why he launches using launcher_ets.exe. I'd assume it has something to do with the new launcher, to be completely honest you'd probably have more luck at finding out the direct cause of the issue on the WineHQ forums. Also to answer your question about lutris, It won't help you in this situation but it will make your life a hell of a lot easier for certain games, I just thought I'd mention it in my previous post in case you were new to games on Linux.

Hi, Any chance you can run the exe straight from the command line and paste the output? Wine "Launcher.exe" To be completely honest you probably won't have much luck, I've found wine to be quite a hit or miss. As a side note, if you plan to game on Linux, you might want to check out lutris.

As for binding the switch to "X", you'd need to use a third-party software to link the button to a key, you might even be able to do this directly with the device providing it provides that functionality.

While I don't play much ATS, I must say the Oregon DLC looks spectacular, in my opinion, its the one DLC that comes close to Scandinavia for ETS in terms of landscaping and I'm looking forward to the release. Baltic looks quite nice, and there's a decent amount of landmarks put around the map, it will definitely be interesting to explore the new areas and I can't wait to see what the landscaping is like.

Hi, With the number of threads made about this issue, it appears to me the issue was just a temporary outage with TruckersMP's download server. I'm able to successfully download the launcher, you sure attempt to redownload the launcher now as it appears to be online again.

I agree with this suggestion. When in cities with a lot of players it can sometimes be hard to find the player in tab and it doesn't cause any harm to have it. +1
