    i hope they are finished soonish(tm) - we dont want another "soon" like event as duke nukem forever or something like it lol ;)

    This is what i have been saying for years, i don't get why updates etc need so much GCHQ style secrecy! I can fully understand the need for it in terms of peoples accounts / info etc but not updates.....

    Yep couldnt agree more, some sounds are alright but its just effects really! If you blast the old Scania & Magnum horns together it actually sounds like the real horn.....

    Please be aware that we do not have an ETA to support 1.37 on TMP yet.

     

     

    Not really as a its a lot of copy paste from ATS which just ruins ETS, European air horns simply DO NOT sound like the American ones! I hope 1.37 comes out soon because the way its going SCS will release 1.38 before it is & that will cause even more issues being its meant to be a graphics overhaul

    Its still possible to save edit a truck, but not like raging troll kids have to do.

    Exactly, its those trucks that cause big fps drops when they pass.....So how many parts would you like to dupe on your truck & trailer? YES!

    I feel like a criminal just duping a single roof bar so i don't have horns sticking out ( 2x roof bars, one is base game & the other is hs schoch )....Meanwhile these guys are like

The problem with ghost mode is you can be driving on what appears to be a clear road when its actually not, it takes a min or so to load everyone in ( you will see trailers first, followed by a sudden FPS drop as the player dots on the GPS load in followed by the trucks ). You may think your ok but your not, the second you see trailers appear is when you stop & wait! My advice is to drive at a crawl with your hazards on, the reason you should stop when seeing trailers is because your likely sending people flying but don't yet see it because the game is playing catch-up....Using it to bypass traffic is classed as bug abusing = perm ban ( i have seen it happen many times ). 

     

    Pro tip: when your stopped with hazards on press F1 while you wait for people to load in as it prevents anyone your inside of going flying, wait for them to clear your truck & make sure no one else is in it behind you before un pausing & moving! You will gain instant respect for doing that

  6. +1 It needs a complete texture rework especially on the outside, i think adding a spoiler would be a nice touch & also the exhaust should change sides with the interior ( the exhaust normally exits the opposite side the steering wheel is on ) could be renamed the Extra GT??? @TeamDeer

I believe FMOD is why its taking so long, lots of sound & various other changes to do...Think of it like a complete engine rebuild on a car, the slightest wrong move can have major implications so you have to make sure all the parts are in the right places & connected up properly otherwise you won't be driving anywhere!

    So hearing people drive past you kills immersion, or do you mean the idle sounds....you hear both irl & then there's the world sounds ( nothing is ever truly silent ) John Cage's 4'33" is proof of that, no music or singing just the sound of the environment be it the air con running or buzzing from the speakers in the concert hall or creaking of the instruments / chairs etc.

    They could be but i doubt it, promods tends to take a while as they add more stuff to the scs updated areas or simply remove them while they are worked on! I think its more the sound stuff they are having to deal with, something tells me the new CB commands are to do with that & getting bits ready so its not one massive file to download....

    The problem is that they were already committed to the update when the global crisis really kicked in & that lead to a side effect of not being able to record new sound files for FMOD. Plus they said 1.37 is only the beginning so hopefully they will have more recording sessions & add new improved sound over time, i think they use a Roland Pro A/V - R-88 as seen in past videos.

    Its when its ready to be released, they are working on it but FMOD is likely causing extra work for things like the car sounds....No one knows except a select few such as the Project Management, Add-on Management & obviously the Devs...But only the Devs will know fully & they are bound under ISP & NDA rules to not say anything until its released.

    The paint jobs & beacons are supported, taking the cargo will auto kick you! The rule that currently stands ( subject to change ) is you can edit your truck / trailer but if it causes lag to others it could lead to a ban! DO NOT edit truck parts onto the Skoda, that hasn't changed & i think it will kick you if you do...

    I knew it, saw someone on promods with a triple that had a caravan on the end & when i questioned it they said is allowed....I knew i was right saying its not! Thanks for proving me right...

    No it doesn't, the game will simply crash if you try that! Only way to get " road trains " is by using mods for SP which will simply revert in MP as they change the code to allow more than default....btw even on SP they don't work because the services etc are not built for things that long & you simply get flung across the map the second you spawn in
