Did a bit of in-game trying myself and spoke to a few mates. We couldn't find anyway to swap or change it so. 
But it could be a good thing to propose or recommend to the community... just saying

[CB Button Change [In-Game]]

Hello all,

 

Just a quick topic that im after a solution for.....
Im curious to know if you can change the default talk in game (CB) button from X to something of your own liking. 
Why im asking this?

Im looking to either build or buy a button box to improve sim gameplay and im tossing with the idea of adding my own real life CB to the side of the box....now if i couldnt map that CB to be used in game then would it likely be a waste of money

[Game FPS Drops]

Hi all, its been quite some time since i've been on the TMP Forums I hope to much hasn't changed,

 

Just a quick forum basically stating something which I have noticed since the end of the previous in-game event (the one where you had to deliver all the race cars to different cities, apologises off the top of my head i can't remember what it was called) However since this event i have noticed very big FPS drops from my internal cab view to the external one (1st - 3rd person) at the time I did just think that it was due to the event being on the map (EU2 im mainly referring to) however after the event ended and i still received these FPS drops i suspected it were my graphic settings. I did adjust my settings from ultra to a mix of high and ultra and to be fair there were minor changes however these big drops from about 160 fps out of the cabin to 40-50 in the cabin (driving on a quiet road) was just simply way too noticeable. Even driving in areas such as Berlin, Paris, Lillie my FPS can drop to 12 at the worst of times, this makes driving very unsafe for myself as things don't load as quick and since I drive with keyboard and mouse simply touching A and D (my turn left and right keys) nearly sends me into the next lane.

 

If there are any members of the community who are also experiencing similar issues with FPS drops feel free to let me know - I have no idea if this is just a me issue or a community issue as i've never noticed it before.

[Game Crashes]

Many thanks to all, i have tried a few suggestions you guys have given, at the moment i feel the verification and disable of all mods from 1.31 has worked, cause ya know i forget mods are turned on xD.

Anyway as far as i know the issue has been resolved as i played about 2 hours last night with no problems so that is a good sign to me.

Hello all,

 

Since the 1.32 update I've been experiencing multiple in-game crashes for no apparent reason. My game ran completely fun and has never crashed until 1.32. I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these issues, whether this is a bug or simply just me for some reason
 

How it is crashing

I'll start off logging into TMP fine, get into a server fine then start driving fine

My game will then be tabbed out like i'm Alt+Tab however I am not doing it. 

I wont be able to Tab back into my game and if I can will have nothing more then a frozen screen which I can not tab out of, resulting in me having to restart and shut down my entire pc :/

Spit, rinse, repeat and wa la I have found an issue 

 

Again I say it I have never experienced these issues before and since 1.32 is so new i'm completely understand there may be issues. I've been playing 1.32 SP completely fine also its only the MP that this problem has arisen 

 

 

[Animals in ATS]

Hello all,

 

Here is an idea that I myself have thought about many times during long boring drives on my own with no interference...

What if Elk or deer or cows or bulls were added into ATS and a bit like road events except everyone will be able to see them so a player doesn't just randomly stopped in the middle of the road. I feel this will help make the game feel so much more realistic having wild animals cross the high ways and roads I mean it makes sense in ATS the roads are so open, especially in the country. I reckon it would be a wicked addition and make drivers that much more cautious when driving, especially at night.

Let me know your thoughts

Haha come on this is Euro Truck Simulator 2, lmao no one listens to the speed limits. People play Europe 2 for that exact risk. I drive the limits if not no more then 90 on Motorways and 60 through cities but speeding isnt an offence in this game otherwise they be banning like 80% of their player base

This isnt true. If you are driving through a green light and someone jumps and hits the side of your trailer in what way could this be your fault?

I like the concept, but it still wouldn't stop people hitting each other, no matter what you do people just cant understand to stay in their lane.

I like this idea like something next to your name that makes it clearer how dangerous you are on the road. Like if someone reports you in game the admin sees how many points or dots there are next to your name.

Just curious and looking for some help from the community, I've found some cool mods on the workshop that enhance the graphics and make sounds more realistic was wondering if I can use them on MP as they technically don't effect anyone else's game play...

People cant help the lag though, it really depends where they are like since I live in Australia I get average of like 320ms (ping if you will) i cant help that i've got one of the best internets this country has to offer and even NBN however since the servers are European it means my internet has to work like 8 times harder to keep me connected. I cant help it nor can I stop it, I'm sure it is annoying to some however a lot of people it doesn't seem to affect, so I have been told anyway.

Go to your TruckersMP profile (https://truckersmp.com/) hover over account and click on feedback from there create a new feedback and select the category - if talking with admins set to Game Moderator or support. Your request should then be seen by a moderator or higher and they will message you asking what you need. Waiting time im unsure of however. 

[Overtaking on CD Road Should it be monitored more heavily?]

Time after time after time have i been hit, rammed and blocked on this road

When 3000+ players are all playing in different parts of the world with different internets and different pings this road only sets the scene for disaster. I have seen 1-2 admins sitting on top of the shipping containers just before/after the train cross road however I haven't recently maybe thats just the times i'm on or their patrolling other areas however this road is where 90% of the community reports come from so in order to cut down on the amount of reports being sent through the website about people on the same road, would it not make more sense to simply have more admins monitoring this road. With 5-6 admins during peak hours (3000+ players) I feel this could easily half if not more the amount of reports made cutting down on time wasting going through website reports and giving admins more time to do more useful things with their time. With 50+ Game Moderators and higher this should easily be manageable if not then I don't see what is wrong with hiring a few more. 

 

I strongly feel admins should be given more freedom and time to do more community events like convoys and even create new events however if we are taking their time away giving them thousands of reports a week where else can they spend their time but on the report page?

 

Its like school if a teacher spends all their time helping the naughty kids in the class all the smart kids and kids that want to get somewhere suffer only in this scenario we are the kids and the admins are the teachers. The naughty kids or idiots that make us create the report in the first place are wasting their time and for that the rest of us have to suffer and not see new events created as admins don't have time to do these things. 

 

Disclaimer: I do not have anything against any member of the admin community nor do i wish to criticise or question the admin methods I just wish to open suggestions to as what could be implemented in the future.  

 

I'd love to hear all feedback positive or negative, whether you agree or not i'm curious to know where i stand and how the community feels about this topic.

Im very open to feedback and can take criticism under fair use, i'm active in the community and will respond as soon as i come on and see any responses.
