  1. Trust me, its not your GPU. The game isn't optimized for multicore (Like, DX12 or Vulkan) it can use 3-4 cores, but most work is done on 1 core Go ahead, open Task manager, and have a look at your CPU/GPU usage when going under 60 FPS (If your GPU isn't at 100%, its not your GPU) If you upgrade to the 3XXX series Ryzen, you'll get a good jump in single core performance = more players before loosing FPS (Your Motherboard MIGHT be compatible with the 3000 series Ryzen, with just a BIOS update ) Best Regards General18
  2. Hello @FloJov Your very welcome I searched some more on 'create_truncate mode', this is what i found: So, what you wanna try here (Before reading on, and trying my other possible solutions I've mentioned) is: 1. Check and make sure that Bitdefender is not blocking any kinda write permissions for this folder: \Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\cache. If thats all good, make sure the folder and the file in this folder isn't read only 2. If you can't find any error with bitdefender, you might wanna try to remove bitdefender entirely from your pc (Don't worry, Windows 7/8/8.1/10 has Windows defender built-in. So after Bitdefender is removed, and your pc restarted, Windows defender will take over ) Windows defender: To make sure Windows defender has been enabled, you might be able to just search for 'Defender' or 'Windows defender'. If this doesn't help, you'll have to go this route: 1. Search for 'Windows Security' and open it 2. Select/click: Virus- and threat protection 3. Then scroll down to 'Settings for Virus- and threat protection' and select 'Administrate settings' Here you should see 'Protection in Real time' 'Enabled'. If its not enabled, then do enable it After this, try and play the game, see if you still get the above pictured error in the console. If you don't get the error, go ahead, drive If you can drive/play normally for a while (Try multiple short trips, and maybe a few longer trips), then I think we found the problem (Bitdefender. Alot of 3rd party anti virus software, are sometimes, a little over protecting. Trust me, I've tried it before ) Now, if the game works fine/perfectly for a while, you can go ahead and update your GPU drivers like you normally do. BUT, if the game still crashes, read on down under (Because down there, I describe a way to clean install your GPU drivers (To maybe remove some errors in your current drivers. And then, install a new driver) Link for the newest compatible driver for your GPU: Newest driver from NVIDIA's website: https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/145873 Darn it. I actually thought about 8/8.1. I even searched for Internet Explorer on my pc. And I found it. So I changed it to Windows 10 XD Since, you've ran it just fine some time ago, lets move on: Theres a newer driver available for your GPU (Who knows, but sometimes a clean install of the drivers can help resolve some game crashes Drivers can fail aswell as pc's ) Newest driver from NVIDIA's website: https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/145873 When opening the installer, select either, NVIDIA graphics driver with GeForce Experience, or just the Nvidia graphics driver. Then select 'User defined' (Advanced) Then, underneath the list of components to install, select: 'Perform a clean installation' Like this (Sorry, mine is in Danish, but you just have to look at the checkmark, then read what it says on your end ): Is this log file from a recent crash? Because this looks like a regular shutdown (Not a crash) I see some too, but some of them (Not all) I have in my log file too With all this, try mentioned things: 1. Perform clean installation of GPU drivers 2. If the log didn't contain a crash, go ahead, play the game with the newest graphics driver, and see if the game still crashes. If it does, come back here, and let us know Best Regards / Best Wishes General18 - I await your response PS. I made the spoilers, to not make the post seem REALLY big XD I hope it helps
  3. No VTC here, but I drive with friends and viewers of my stream VERY rarely I drive on my own (Its just not the same as driving with people/friends/viewers. Wich is also why I'm in MP and not SP ) Best Regards General18
  4. Hello @FloJov When I try to search for your problem, people mention DX11 alot. Could you let me know of your pc specs, like: CPU (Processor): GPU (Graphics card): Memory capacity: Windows operating system (Looks like Windows 10): Windows bit version (32 or 64 bit) : Antivirus in use (Like, AVG/Avast/Windows Defender/McAfee etc): Alot of this information can be found by searching for 'About your pc' in the start menu/search field. Ofcourse, in your own operating systems language Together with mentioned information, could you copy-paste the whole content of your game.log.txt file after a crash (found in "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\" folder) to pastebin.com Then paste here the generated link Assuming theres anything in there ofcourse Hopefully we can figure this out Best Regards General18 And about this: Thats totally normal, thats the right place for the file to be And about the many profliles, if you want to, you can clean them up a little They're only backups, this is how mine looks (After cleaning up a little):
  5. In Real Life = Traffic Laws: Obey them, or get a fine/loose your license, or even worse, get jailed for X amount of time + a fine. In Game = Rules, read them, and obey them. If you don't, you'll get either X amount of temp bans, then a perma ban. Or even worse/better (Depending on persons perspective XD Could be from the witnesses, or from the offenders) Instant perma ban Keep on Trucking, and stay safe Best Regards General18
  6. Already foling @ home on my Unraid server. But, because of the way the docker container works, I can't select what team It runs on So, I'm pretty sure it runs on the Default team (Not, linustechtips nor TMP) But, what counts is, its running, right? Keep folding (People who can fold), and most importantly: stay safe (everyone) Best Regards General18

    100% GPU

With that CPU + GPU it could very well be, coil whine. Test with Vsync when possible Best Regards General18
  8. Hello @MaGiStiK I found these possible solutions on the Forum: Solution 1: Download Ultrasurf. Run Ultrasurf. Open TruckersMP in Administrator Mode. Install the available updates (only the first run with Ultrasurf), wait for it to finish and Launch button appears. Exit Ultrasurf Solution 2: In order to verify your game cache, go to your 'Library' and find 'Euro Truck Simulator 2'. Once you find it, 'Right Click' and go to the 'Properties ' tab. This will open up the properties tab. Go to the third sub-tab that says 'Local Files' where you will be presented with the following options. Click on the last option to begin the validation process. This might take a few minutes. Once all the files are validated, if any corrupt instances are found, then Steam will redownload those particular files for you. If not you will be greeted with a box that says no errors. You have verified your game cache successfully. Solution 3: "Usually it appears when you try to update the multiplayer launcher with the game open. First, check if ETS2 process is running. If so, end it and try again. If this doesn't help delete core_ets2mp.dll, re-open launcher and re-download file. Path: C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP" Solution 4: Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes) Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher" Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates" If the above steps didn't work for you, then try this: 1. Open Command Prompt as admin and type "net user Administrator /active:yes". This will activate the built-in Administrator account. 2. Log out your windows account and log in the Administrator account. 3. Open TruckersMP launcher and install the updates. Try to launch the game and see if it works. 4. Log out again and log back in with your normal account. 5. If you still have the same error you can keep playing from the Administrator account as a temporary solution. I hope this helps solve your problem, if not, let us know Best Regards General18

    100% GPU

Hey ~Albino~ What version were your ETS2 before updating? Not so long ago, DirectX 11 was fully implemented to the game, so now the game can utilize a few more CPU cores/threads, hereby, the game can run at more frames pr. sec. If your getting quite a few FPS, it could be 'Coil whine' your getting from your GPU (Its harmless. But can be annoying to hear) To see if its coil whine, just enable VSync in settings, so that the game only runs at your monitors rated Hz (FPS). If the noise/coil whine stops. You can either leave Vsync on, or not (Depends, if you wanna hear the coil whine or not If you leave Vsync on, you'll not only save youe ears. You'll also save some power/heat ) I hope this help solve your problem/answer your question, if not, let us know Best Regards General18
  10. Just pay the damn Euro (1 Euro (0.85 GBP (About 1.10 USD))), and get all files in the matter of minutes
  11. I'm using the Logitech G27 I do have the H-shifter, but I don't use it. I just use the pad shifters (Those pads behind the steering wheel) Its a solid wheel, but as you might know, you can't buy it new anymore (Atleast, not in Denmark). You can buy it used (Thats what I did) If you can't find the G27: I have a couple friends who's using the G29, and they're all happy with the wheel + It has ALOT of buttons Best Regards General18
  12. As far as I can remember, I started with mouse steering + keyboard (Works really great, if your mouse aint too fast ) Then I got a 180 Degrees steering wheel (90 degrees to each side) It was ok. Now I'm using the Logitech G27 (full 900 Degrees rotation) I do have the H-shifter, but I don't use it. I just use the pad shifters (Those pads behind the steering wheel ) Best Regards General18
  13. For me, mostly convoys I stream, and I love to drive with my viewers/friends (Be it on stream or off stream, it doesn't matter )
  14. Hello @leofurione123 Since you have a TruckersMP account (leofurione123) You just need to install ETS2, and tell the TMP launcher where your ETS2 game is installed. After that, you only have to click 'Launch ETS2' in the bottom right corner of the launcher. Then, when your at the login screen, you just need to login with your TMP account (You might have to type the E-mail in your browser or some notepad document, and then copy it to the login screen) Then, type your password and login. Now you can play on all ETS2 servers (Except for the promods servers. Unless ofcourse you have ALL map DLC's + ProMods installed. I hope this explains everything, and welcome to ETS2 Best Regards General18
  15. I have the same problem, it comes and goes.(Its beginning to be a long time since it has happend though). But, what I do is: Launch TMP, start ETS2. When at the TMP login screen, notice if the music is louder than what you set, if it is, close the game. After the game has closed, launch TMP again and start ETS2. If it tells you that the game is already running, press ok, and wait a few sec, then try again. Now it should've loaded everything correctly, and you should be good to go Now, everytime you get this problem, just repeat, and you should be good. I know, its not a permanent fix, but you can try to fully re-install MP this way (If you haven't done it this way already): How to re-install TruckersMP > Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard > Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes) > Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder. > Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher" > Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/ Now, remember, when re-installing MP, install on the C drive (You'll get ALOT less problems this way) I hope this helps Best Regards General18
