That actually depends a lot on if you use your brains or not. Ofc companies will try their best to earn money when people are stupid enough to fall for it, but there are some real offers out there as well, I was for example looking at a steering wheel for my computer which previously cost 220€ but now was around 160€ so that was a bit cheaper and wasn't a scam and if you're really interested in a product you monitor the price over time I would say.
