Move home directory of ETS2 for TruckersMP

Question

I've moved the home directory of my game to my new SSD so my C drive is not being neiled with all the space.

But TruckersMP is not using the new directory and still using the old directory. Most likely because it's not using the launch options.

But how do I add launch options?

I've tried adding a shell junction ting to the directory but that didn't work for some reason. It works with Steam games but not this.

So is there any way to add launch options to TruckersMP. I've adding it to the "Target" field on the shortcut but '-homedir' just causes a fatal error.

When using -homedir parameter make sure that the actual directory, location of which is in the value for this parameter actually exists. The game crashes, because it simply can't find the directory and it's unable to make the home directory. Once you satisfy this requirement, you should notice that the game goes instantly to "New profile" wizard upon startup. At that point you can ALT+F4 from the game and you can start transferring profiles from old homedir to new one. The old one is usually in your Documents folder. You can edit the shortcut to include the -homedir parameter. All the parameters passed to the launcher will be passed to the base game executable.
