Doubles / B Doubles outside of Scandinavia?

While I was driving today, I could have sworn I saw something like a B Double in Germany. Is this allowed? I thought the system prevented you from doing this.

You are allowed to drive with doubles/B-doubles in whole EU, exept this region

Double trailers are now allowed in entire europe, except middle europe (Calais - Hannover - Liege - Hamburg)

I was driving along the theoric BORDER of the Restricted Area with a Renault and light blue Double... There is a Kick feature to prevent getting in this Area. (Spoiler)

So the "real" Restricted Area Includes METZ, MANNHEIM, FRANKFURT and all cities between it and Hamburg. But on the East side of Germany you can use Doubles Without beeing kicked.  Although the rule §5.2 Has not been updated...

As for your problem, we understand that knowing the exact boundaries for double trailers can indeed be quite confusing. Howdy, TFM DJ ccowie. As it happens, I am also from Ontario.

I guess over time we'll get more detailed information on specific borders where doubles are allowed and where the system will auto-kick. A question for anyone to answer, are all versions of double trailers permitted? Or just certain ones?

Also, the restricted area, I am assuming that is simply because of high traffic and congestion, and therefore the intent is to prevent further headache or trolling with the longer rigs?
