ok so i'd like to play single player without speed limits

So i downloaded ETS MP and i'm having fun, I play mainly in the EU1 Server, limited to 90km/h, so i've had my fun and my friends have gone offline i'd now like to play single player, hey ho, can't switch the limiter off, stuck doing 90 km/h. so i uninstall MP, validate my files on steam, guess what still stuck doing 90 km/h..... what file, and what do i need to change?

Recent updates: 

 

 

Speed limit its 150km/h we can no longer drive over that speed. Use EU3 or EU2 inoreer to drive that top speed. 

 

Cars:

Knows bug: use (ctrl & shift for automatic transmission) 

 

 

There is nothing against players speeding in game. You may drive as fast as you want (but not reackless)

If your doing jobs via world of trucks your truck will automatically be enforced to 90 KHM

In addition you must turn off the speed limiter in your gameplay settings in single player

He's downloaded TMP, plays on EU1 which is a limited 90KMH server

The people hes playnig with have gone offline so he now goes to play single player instead, but the limiter is still on.

He uninstall TMP, check integrety of steam files but the limiter stays in place. Hes asking for the solution of how to turn off the limiter.

This answer is nothing to do with the question. He wants a solution to how to turn off speed limiter in single player, not an explanation of have the speed limit of tmp works

the problem i'm having is, after playing on MP and switching to single player, i can no longer either turn on or off the limiter, it is no longer clickable in the options menu. I'm asking which config file i need to adjust to fix my single player game as its quite obviously the MP game that changed a config

Settings, gameplay, speed limit lift the tick there. 

 

And don't do contract work. If you do, it will be stuck at 90 miles.

Just open C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\ and navigate into the folder of your current profile. Open 'config.cfg' with a Text Editor, search for the line "uset g_use_speed_limiter" and make sure to put a "0" next to it. Then save and close the config-file and check if your speed limiter keeps disabled now

thank you for all your suggestions, gonna play with the config file as this seems to be where i'm having the issue. I can't change the setting using the game options as the truck limiter is greyed out and unclickable.

Greetings @Barinthus74 based on what you said above with the speed limiter is greyed out is cause you got a world of trucks job active so try and go into the main menu and check if you see anything about a job if so then cancel the job.

i hope i described it really good so you will understand how to get that job deleted.
