I tried to open as administrator did not solve; I downloaded the multiplayer today is updated in version 1004

Hello,

Solution 1:

  • > Go to Steam Library
  • > Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2
  • > Properties
  • > Local Files
  • > Verify Integrity of Game Files

Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs.

Solution 2:

Try to start TruckersMP with DirectX (64)

Guide:

  • > Go to your steam App
  • > Go to library
  • > Go to ETS 2 / ATS
  • > Click "Play"
  • > Choose "Launch with DirectX (64-bit). Make sure you chose 64 bit.
  • > Start ETS 2
  • > Choose your profile and press "drive"
  • > Close ETS 2
  • > Start TruckersMP as admin. TruckersMP will start with DirectX for all time. Except you change it again.

Best regards.

Sincerely,
AdaBey

Hello,

Please try this:

               Screen%20recording%202017-09-04%20at%200

  • Download any VPN program and open the launcher with VPN program, enter the game and turn off VPN.

And

Try delete TruckersMP folders(all) on your computer:

  1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
  4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  5. Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/

Hello :)

1. Check this post and make sure you steam version is NONE - opt out of all beta programs

Login in your steam -> Library >  Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Right Click > Properties > Betas -> Select NONE - opt out of all beta programs

Check this topic:

2. If the above isn't the issue, check here and see if you have missed something:

The version of my ETS2 is 1.31.2.5s and the TruckersMP application is 1.31.1s can this be the problem? Remember that the update version is 10.0.0.4.

Hello :)

I mean your version steam is NONE - opt out of all beta programs

Here you can see the photo

Make sure your Firewall/Antivirus is not blocking the launcher.

Also try this

1. Click Start -> Run (or WIN+R)

2. Type regedit and hit enter

3. Follow the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TruckersMP

4. Look at the value parameter "InstallLocationETS2"

If they differ:

1. Copy the folder address from STEP 1

2. Change the value parameter "InstallLocationETS2" (Insert the copied folder address)

3. Click OK.

After that, many users get another error: "Connection error - retry?" In this case, open Task Manager, close all Programmes of TruckersMP/ETS and try to start the Launcher as an administrator again.

Can I ask you Are you running in 64 bit ?
