FPS DROPS ONLY IN TRUCKERS MP/MULTIPLAYER

Hi, I am playing ETS 2 from about a year ago , everything was fine until 2-3 weeks ago when i launched Truckers MP and connected to a server and seeing that I have frame drops from 10 to 10 seconds , I checked Singleplayer everything is fine there but in truckers mp i have frame drops also in menu if i move my cursor i can see the frame drop from 10 to 10 seconds I don t know hot to fix this. I m playing on a laptop with i54200h 3,4 ghz, gtx950m,4 gb ram, 7200rpm hdd. I checked the temps and they are ok, also I don t think the problem is caused by my laptop since it worked fine until 2-3 weeks ago. I also uninstalled the microsoft update for intel meltdown to be sure it isn t caused by it ,  but i have the same frame drops 1 from 10 to ten 10 and is really anoying. I don t know what can i try to fix it and i am calling your help. Thank you in advance.

I will try but why the game worked fine until 2-3 weeks ago if it was my ram. I will buy in the appropiate future 4gb of ram and test because i also need more ram for other games.

This has been sent to support many times. And for me all I had to do to sort this was restart my game and if that did  not work. Restart my computer.

Hello there were some people before you with the same or a similar problem.

I tried all the tips but I and others have the same problem , I think this can be fixed by a truckers mp launcher update maybe in the last updates something changed at cpu/gpu usage and led to fps drops.. Thank you for the tips.

This may be due to the Winter Mod.

I know that a few Members have been experiencing this same problem.

 

Please could you try disabling your Winter Mod?

In-Game: Settings, Disable Seasonal Effects and Winter Mod.

Hm, if you having all on c: drive (truckersmp, steam client, steam library/ets2) this could cause any trouble like you have.

 

This Guide is for ATS and/or ETS2.

1. Locate and Secure your Profiles, Copy them to a seperate Folder.

2. Then de-install ATS/ETS2 via Steam and de- install TruckersMP.

3. Restart your PC.

4. Then start searching for all old Folders of TruckersMP and ATS/ETS2 and Delete them. A RegCleaner Software will be helpfull. Sometimes there are "Dumb" Folders/Paths to ATS/ETS2, that were created by the TruckersMP Launcher.

5. When u deleted all Folders, Restart ur PC Again.

6. Log In to Steam-->Rightclick on Steam--->Settings-->Download-->Steam Library Folders-->Add Library Folder---->Choose another Partition or Hdd and mark it as Default Library.

7. After that Procedure, Re- Install ATS/ETS2 via Steam into the new Library, make sure you installing this Version.

important: Check TruckersMP for the actual Versions of the Game, they can be different!!

8. Start the Game in Single Player and check the Version. Create a new Profile, but do not Drive. Close the Game.

9. Search with Windows File Explorer the Path to the ETS/ATS Installation. Keep this Path in Mind.

After that, download the actual Version of TruckersMP, unpack it to a seperate Folder. Install it from this Folder as Administrator.

Make sure that you having the right Path to the Games when you Installing TruckersMP.

You have to check them manually, do not let the Launcher Auto searching for them.

10. After the Installation start the Launcher as Administrator and let him finishing his Downloads. Then start the Multiplayer. If you can Play, close the Game and insert your old Game Pofiles.

I disabled seasonal effects and winter mod and tried reinstalling the game like RequiebB and i still have frame drops.

What are your game settings?
Try setting the minimum and see if the problem of the frame drop persists, if not, go up the configuration until you start the frame drop again and return a setting.
Before I used 500% resizing, today I'm at 200%, mirrors at minimum, because either they do at most or minimum, the AA I leave in half (and look I have hardware to play the game, more in TMP to maintain 60fps it's just like that). And a tip, finalize applications that are not essential at the moment, especially internet browsers.

I m done with this, developers ignore this shit too much and never care about us who have problems.The issue is in TruckersMP mod not in our PC.
