[HELP] Second Fps drops Question

Before this post, thank you for answer the question.

(only in multi player) From the TruckersMP's start screen(it means from the ets2's loading screen to all screens. only in multi!), Fps drops from 60 to 50 every 10 secs. not in single player. i can't know why this problem occured

 

I trying all the help for Fps drop post, and re-installed all programs. TruckersMP folders in %programdata% was deleted, and re-installed too.
launching admin privilege every times. 

 

Can you help me one more time?

Hello,

To avoiding hard Drops, you have to change a few Settings in the Ingame Options, the TruckersMP Options and the Driver Options.

 

Depending Killafragzilla´s  Hardware i suggest the following Settings:

 

 

Ingame:

- Enable Vsync   It is always better to having a Stable FPS Rate around 60 than often a Jumping between 180 till 45 or lower.

- Set Scale to 400%

- Disable MLAA

- Disable DOF

- Set all following Quality Settings to max.

- Disable Anisotropic Filtering by moving the Slider to the left Side.

 

 

TruckersMP:

Follow Baldemar Deutsch´s Guide to open the MP Settings. By the Way, Baldemar have to make new Screenshots, this Ones are outdated! 

Depending on your Internet Connection and your PC Spec´s, the following Setting Increasing or Decreasing the Graphic Performance and your own Lags or your Lagging to other User.

 

- Development Logging  

- Smoothing Distance

- Load Cabin Accessoires

- Load Flags

- Aditional Lights

- Draw Distance

 

At last, my Driversettings for ETS2 and ATS. You can use the Same Settings when you having a Radeon Card:

Hello @GleguS, Welcome to forums. Firstly you need to lower your graphics settings. like if you have Ultra change it to high. second never choose highly populated area to drive like Calais and Duisburg those 2 cities are populated most of the time..try the follow in links below which might solve your issue.

 

if the above links doesn't solve your issue then it might be auto save which causing you problem.try to backup the game save Doc then try the below link

Hi @GleguS
FPS drops during auto save because the game save all your profile data an a HDD and need to wait for the data was writen, before continue rendering scenes and processing gameplay.

If you play on notebook, most notebooks have a slow HDD, what cause a delay when information write to it.

If you have a not enough RAM memory, OS already bake up some data from memory to a HDD, also most windows processes can use HDD for their thing, you can have game installed on separate phisical HDD but ETS and ATS store profiles in a user documents folder what placed on a primary partition with windows. So the problem is a slow HDD or lack of RAM memory or both.

 

You can try:

Do a defragmentation for all your HDD, that can increase disk speed.

In game, have less garages, fire all your drivers, sell not used trucks by yourself (That result in less data neede to be saved during autosave). If you use TEdit, stop using it and return setting in game configuration file about save format to it's defaults what make game use custom save format, what can be more speedy, instead of plaintext.

@lukavsky: huh, that´s a  old One, but basicly correct for High Spec PC´s.

 

@Glegus: A periodic Drop ever 10 Seconds means, there is something in background running that trying to communicate. How fast is your internet connection, how many space is left on c drive, what´s your virus scan software, when was the last windows update and which windows, how´s your ets2 multiplayer settings, specially the logging? and so on.

you can go into your ets2 install directory, look there for the folder named "bin", then go to "x64" rightclick on eurotruck.exe--->compatility---->change for all user--->running as administrator---->apply

 

As long we not having any fuhrter information about your PC, your Programs/Software, your Driver State, we can´t proper help you. rule number one, if you need support, describe your problem exactly, your steps till it happen and provide any infomations abut your pc/software.

without this informations, we all shooting into the dark and you got alot of guides, hints, tips that are useless or having nothing to do with your problem. at the end there is more "broken" than before.

I use Ahnlab V3 Internet Security 9.0

looks like you bottleknecked your RAM, check your Bios settings.

 

Also, the 1050 with 2gig ram is not the best choice. a second bottlekneck for this system.

 

But enough to run ETS2 on Ultra settings.

 

What kind of HDD/SSD are installed, how many space is left on C: and did you installed truckersmp, steam and ets2 on c: drive?

install on TS256GSSD370 SSD. this problem occured HDD too

ETS2, TruckersMP installed on C: drive. and left 33.9GB (overall 238GB)

Hm, if you having all on c: drive (truckersmp, steam client, steam library/ets2) this could cause any trouble like you have.

 

This Guide is for ATS and/or ETS2.

1. Locate and Secure your Profiles, Copy them to a seperate Folder.

2. Then de-install ATS/ETS2 via Steam and de- install TruckersMP.

3. Restart your PC.

4. Then start searching for all old Folders of TruckersMP and ATS/ETS2 and Delete them. A RegCleaner Software will be helpfull. Sometimes there are "Dumb" Folders/Paths to ATS/ETS2, that were created by the TruckersMP Launcher.

5. When u deleted all Folders, Restart ur PC Again.

6. Log In to Steam-->Rightclick on Steam--->Settings-->Download-->Steam Library Folders-->Add Library Folder---->Choose another Partition or Hdd and mark it as Default Library.

7. After that Procedure, Re- Install ATS/ETS2 via Steam into the new Library, make sure you installing this Version.

important: Check TruckersMP for the actual Versions of the Game, they can be different!!

8. Start the Game in Single Player and check the Version. Create a new Profile, but do not Drive. Close the Game.

9. Search with Windows File Explorer the Path to the ETS/ATS Installation. Keep this Path in Mind.

After that, download the actual Version of TruckersMP, unpack it to a seperate Folder. Install it from this Folder as Administrator.

Make sure that you having the right Path to the Games when you Installing TruckersMP.

You have to check them manually, do not let the Launcher Auto searching for them.

10. After the Installation start the Launcher as Administrator and let him finishing his Downloads. Then start the Multiplayer. If you can Play, close the Game and insert your old Game Pofiles.

But now, you having it installed to an correct order, so this error source is gone. whats with your Bottleneck configured ram?

@W4chund yesterday, i went to bios setup, and i saw that the memory was set on 'auto'

and cpu usage is not reach 100%. it stay on 50%
