64bit Restriction

Whenever I start TruckersMP, I get this message: "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publishers." I went to the website to re-download it, and I noticed this: "Supports ETS2 and ATS (64bit)" Does the 64bit restriction apply to ETS2 as well or just ATS? Because my computer runs 32bit Windows.

You need a 64-bit version of windows in order to play; this goes for both ETS2 and ATS games.

 

So, the answer to your question; you need 64-bit to play ETS2 as well as ATS.

 

If your computer runs on a 32-bit version, you cannot play multiplayer.

ATS official version only runs on 64 bits systems (there's a beta that can run on 32 bits systems). ETS2 can run on both in single player, but TruckersMP, as it's a common launcher for both games, only supports 64 bits systems. Sorry, but you'll need to upgrade to a 64 bits Windows if you want to play MP.

This is mildly infuriating, but there is nothing I can do. I've been away for a while, and didn't notice the change.
