MULTIPLAYER WONT LAUNCH

Hello,

 

Every time I try to launch Multiplayer it says I have an invalid version of mod even though I have downloaded the most recent version.

 

I have opted out of Betas on steam so I know that isn't the problem.

Hello, first be sure to install the MP mode in the correct place. My Documents delete the folder "ETS2MP" and try again. In the steam "verify integrity of game cache" operation. After all this, I'd appreciate it if you inform us.

Have you got a screenshot of the error message? Instead of selecting 'opt out of all betas', try to select the correct version on Steam, that corresponds with the correct version of the TMP Mod.

Problem solved! I'm an idiot, I still have the old icon for ETS2MP on my desktop and have been clicking that instead of the current style Icons!

Multiplayer got updated to support the latest version 18th of April, but it seems that, if you have Turkish or Hungarian paintjobs DLC (which came out later), the latest version does not work. That's why you need to downgrade to version shown in @The Imaginative Lad's post above.

 

Correct me, if I'm wrong. I believe it's like this as I can play multiplayer with the latest version and I don't have the paintjobs I mentioned.
