I'd suggest: - Ramming - Blocking - Griefing - Wrong way - Reckless drving - Chat (spamming/insulting/bad language) - Nick return 0; Author of the JobSync project. Aragon Posted June 17, 2015 Share Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) Your reasons are focused on one rule, maybe the admin doesn't necessarily need to know what the user is blocking, just if they are blocking. They can easily see what they are blocking once they've claimed the report. (With Freecamera). I strongly agree something needs to be done about the current report system. First, here are a list of reasons that should be in the report menu. I've sorted them from popular offenses to more rare offenses. -Overtaking/Undertaking at Europoort. -Reckless Driving. -Ramming. -Blocking. -Griefing. -Wrong Way. -Spamming (Chat/Horn). -Inappropriate Content (Swearing, Username......) -Exiting map boundaries. -Hacking/Unsupported Mods/Bug Abusing. -Other. (But no text box). That list would fix the lack of reasons problem, but what do we do about users who quickly disappear off the tab menu? Couldn't there be a spectate mode where you could insta-teleport (in freecam) to a user (Particularly your friends or those you're trying to report) no matter how far away from your truck the person in question is? Guest Posted June 17, 2015 Share Posted June 17, 2015 @Aragon, your list is too long, it'd take too much space on the report screen. -Overtaking/Undertaking at Europoort OK -Reckless Driving -Racing -Incorrect Way -Driving without lights at night I'd combine those 4 in : Reckless driving (Racing, Wrong way, No lights at night, ...) -Ramming OK -Blocking OK -Inappropriate Parking OK -Inappropriate Username or Avatar -Spamming (Chat/Horn) OK -Profanity/Insulting OK -Exiting map boundaries It's a bug abuse -Hacking/Speedhacking/Bug abusing -Unsupported Mods I'd combine those 3 in : Cheating (Speedhack, Bug abuse, Mods) -Other (Maybe A Text Box?) In my opinion I'm not really bothered by the lack of reasons in the report menu as forum reports seem to be the best option currently. I'm still for this suggestion though, as admins need something to do while in-game. Oh, and lastly, going off the map isn't bug abusing, as you can do it in single player, like this. It's part of the base game. It just isn't welcome in multiplayer anymore, (as you'd get players dropping from the skies, spawning on roofs, ect...). (My idea is to get a list that everybody accepts then mwl4 could use it to make the changes on the report system). @FirestarteR93 With this list you'd be happy, okay "Wrong way" is not a direct option BUT as you see there is a way to report it . @Aragon You're right on this point (Sorry), I said that because some months ago admins found that a mod permitted to pass through everything (It's was cheating), and players used to go out of the map boundaries. But anyway I'd let it on "Cheating" because a person that sees that for the first time will directly think that it's because of a mod or it's a bug abuse (And it's not very frequent so it'd be useless to have a special option to report that).
