Because of this, my accompanying answer will address generic issues. Firstly, have you checked the folder you've placed the mod into is called mod and not mods? Secondly, I'd suggest ensuring you have downloaded the latest version, and have installed it in the correct folder - C:\Users/user/Documents\ETS2MP\mod. Thirdly, I'd suggest checking you have put the .scs files directly into the folder. You shouldn't extract the files, simply move the downloaded folder(s) into the mod folder.
