Is this possible?

So I like the Renault interior, the downside is, it doesn't have the GPS like every other interior has. Is it possible to get a mod/edit it into the game via game saves?

those mods arents allowed because they cause crashing of the players and admins around you and it crashes the servers we are lucky that we can make hybrid truck for now... but if you want to put in a gps mod use it in singleplayer

As far as you don't change the game files it's ok with the community you can have them half/half

As far as I know, no. Maybe in the future but as of right now interior mods do not work. You can only use stock and the Renault interior is stock (If you change the GPS it won't be)

This exactly. If we can take a engine from one truck and put it in another, why can't we take a gps from one truck and put it in the renault?

Well there is a mod that does actually make GPS for Renault dashboard and works in 1.16 version:

Sorry if I haven't clarified this: If you are trying to change where the GPS is in a vehicle, you are modding the artwork. That is not possible unless you use a MOD.

 

The mods that aren't trailers do NOT work. Truck mods will only replace Vanilla items with Vanilla items. If you change where the GPS is then the interior isn't vanilla anymore.

 

EDIT (Because Sergio locked it): If you add two vanilla accessories together, it isn't vanilla anymore. It will be a normal mod that you CAN NOT use in Multiplayer

yes you can only change default trailers between the trucks

Are you able to take the GPS let's say from the Volvo, and put it in the Renault? It's still keeping the game "vanilla" with an additional "accessory"

I would have thought that adding a vanilla Volvo GPS screen to a vanilla Renault dashboard would not be loading any non-vanilla items so should not cause crashes for others, so should be acceptable, but I could be wrong.

You can only take the whole interior to the truck you want.

So for example: Scania interior to a Volvo.
