Hello there! I can ride on Scout, but i cant catch the caravan, why?

This isnt a bug, when you have advanced trailer coupling on it is harder to attach a caravan. You should turn off advanced trailer coupling off in your settings.

You should then be able to attach the caravan with ease

I've got few simple issues with the official events :

    1. Constantly being overtaken, occasionally rammed off the road or brake checked in the process.  During one of the Xmas convoys, there was admin driving right behind me for a short time, I lost count how many people he had to kick in just couple of minutes.

    2. Frequent complete stops, then racing to close the gaps, just to pile up again and slow down to pace of a creeping glacier or complete stop again. If I can't take the bend at over 120km/h because my truck is already on "two wheels" at 80km/h, then I simply can't go faster, or if I don't have over 9000 hp and negative weight, I simply can't climb that incline that fast. This of course leads to even more overtaking.

Not sure If I will show up this time, and sorry for my rant.

    With your first point:
The event has dedicated staff to deal with these issues. If you have an issue of being rammed you in this instance use the in game reporting system. The staff will look at the report and take the appropriate action. You should also do this for overtaking. Make sure you select the correct reasons so the GM knows what's going on.

    With your second point:
It is really difficult to maintain a constant speed without gaps, stops and everything else. My best advice:

    • Keep enough distance between trucks (about 2 truck lengths), to stop you from any lag, brake checks and give you enough time to react.
    • When you see stopped trucks ahead, instead of stopping behind them (unless necessary), Slow down and roll, try not to completely come to a stop. That way, stopping is kept to a minimum.

Hopefully this helps a little. Also in addition any issues you wish to let us know about you can do over at https://truckersmp.com/feedback where this information can be taken on.

    See you on Sunday! ??

Amazing! This is very useful and helpful. One question though if the downloaded data dump is deleted will that data dump not be included in your future data dump downloaded or the whole data dump since the start will be there even after several deletion of dta dump shown above...?

Each time you create a dump, your entire history will be included every time

  4. I'd suggest taking a quick look at this..

I'd also just like to make a quick note about your post too. Please remember to look through solved topics before making posts. Whilst I understand you want to find information, a lot is already available without having to make a post.

    Happy Trucking!

  5. Generally, you can see reports taking up to 2 weeks to be answered.

There are a few factors which you must consider when waiting for reports to be answered.

    • TMP is completely run by volunteers, this means GMs are not online 24/7
    • The reporting system is based on first in first out. Meaning your reports are added to the back of the queue.
    • If you have made a report in a different language, that needs to be translated first.

Expecting a reply in a few days is not realistic, please be patient while the GMs get to your report. The appropriate action will be taken at some point, so don't worry, your report WILL be dealt with.

Additionally, f you really are unsatisfied with the turn around rate of the reports being dealt with, then I suggest that you create a feedback ticket.

You can do this at https://truckersmp.com/feedback. Remember, when making a feedback ticket you should always include details. EG, Explain the reasons why you're making the ticket, Explain how it affects you as a player, and suggest how the problem could be solved.

Hopefully, this provides more insight for you and you find this answer helpful.

    All the best!

  6. To me this looks like you have tried adding the Skoda wheels to your truck. If I'm right the skoda is based of the Red Scania R. When things dont add up with the car properly it reverts to the Scania truck.  So I do believe you have lost your truck on this occasion.

Only thing I can recommend is revert back to a previous autosave or save where you didnt make the changes and load that up instead and continue from there.

    Hope this helps
